Maybe McHale should pull a Spurs' Popovich and not play the starters, so they can be fresh vs. Portland tomorrow.

 

Looks like Casspi is playing tonight. We will bomb the 3s in LA tonight.

 

tough game, either team can win it but Clips will be the favorite to do so. One thing for sure, if CP3 goes off and Clips win , do not visit CF temporary !!

 

I don't think I've ever paid as much attention to rebounds as I will during this game. If Superman and the Turkish Hammer can bully Jordan and Griffin we got a good shot. I think only 1 or 2 other teams in the league have a better matchup for LA's front court.

Here's one game where Bev's injury is really gonna sting. I dunno about defend, but Lin can score on CP3... if he brings his A game.

3pt% is going to be another huge stat. For both teams.

I hope we win and I think we have a great chance, but if I had to choose, I would rather blow out the other Los Angeles team we play this week lolol

I meant to say we played ok against Clippers last year.

 

We have won 5 of the last 6 against the Rockets including 2-1 last year... so depends on what you consider okay. Although the past shouldn't be a factor because both teams are night and day different this year.

 

I don't understand why people kept saying Clippers owned us last year. Did we not blowed them out last time 98-81 even without H&H? The only concern tonight is we play the third game in four nights and Clips has two nights rest. Hope Harden's ankle is fine, Clips has no answer for him.

Pfff, 5:30 AM gt for me. It'll be tough to finish this game with my eyes open.

 

I dont get why people say Harden is overrated. Nobody has placed him out of the top 10 current players and in most, he is top 5. The numbers dont lie

 

First game, they beat the Rockets at home without Chris Paul and the game wasn't really in doubt. Clippers were up by 20 in the 4th quarter.

Second game, Clippers scored 46 points in the 1st quarter and were up by 18. Were up by 20 at halftime. Clippers were still up by 16 in the 4th, and the Rockets eventually finished the game within 10 points during garbage time. Game wasn't close. Clippers coasted.

Game 3, the Clippers played perhaps their worst game of the season. It was their 4th game in 5 nights. Del Negro pulled all of the starters except for Chris Paul in the 4th quarter. James Harden didn't even play, which shows you how much of a fluke this game was since Rockets won by 17 without Harden.

 

Maybe that is why they think he is overrated. They don't think he's a top 5 player in the NBA like many people are saying.

 

Exactly. if we win this one n the road, while being a bit short handed, a message will be sent to the NBA. The Clippers know this.

 

We should win this one easily.

 

They said on this board doe. ESPN, SLAM, etc rankings all put him top 5. It's not just this board.
