Thx for posting... saw this when it aired, but I was never able to find the clip online. Skip is such a blatant hater. I know it pained Cari to have to sit through positive commentary about Dwight lol.

Sometimes people just cant admit when they are wrong. Pride breeds hate.

It just blows my mind that someone who hasn't played basketball since high school -- and sucked it up even back then --can be so hypercritical of so many of the league's best players. He ALWAYS finds a way to dump on LeBron, KD and Dwight. Always.

And yeah, he'll never admit when he's wrong. I'm certainly not LeBron's #1 fan, but come on... what else must he do to prove he's legit in Skip's eyes?

After watching Skip hate on Lebron for years, I've learned Skip won't admit he is wrong until Dwight wins a title or possibly 2.

Cari looked super uneasy about good things being said about Dwight, her tone was semi angry too.

I hope we manage Dwight kind of like the Spurs manage Duncan. Obviously early on we need to form chemistry, but we need to make sure he and Harden are 100% come playoff time, which is all that really counts.

i think these two are just an entertainment act. i think they decide which stances to take pre show and they stick to it. simply for ratings and to keep people talking about them. i mean PTI show is a far better duo and much more objective than SAS/bayless yet nobody talks about korhieser/wilbon. theyve created fictional characters that they potray on a this show.

i remember a show with those two when the rockets signed lin and the 2 guys had differing stances. sas, the lin hater, and bayless in support of lin. bayless ended the segment saying to sas, "you better hope the rockets dont trade for howard" implying they would be a tough team with that combo.. now the rockets with lin. harden, and howard hes taken this anti dwight stance that just contradicts his previous stance and a point he was adamant about making.. these guys just want people to talk about them so they say whatever will get fans riled up posting their videos to youtube..

I definitely think they take opposing stances to maintain the debate format of the show, but Skip really does strike me as a genuine hater. I still like to go back and watch that ep where Jalen shut him down for kicks. I also think SAS is genuine in his support of Dwight... or I'd like to think so, at least. I think SAS knows where his bread is buttered. He seems to have legitimate relationships with a lot of players and is careful to protect them.

    Does anyone actually like Skip?

I'm an opinionated person myself, so i understand his stubborness but man, he just does not let up.
This was the closest to praise for DH12 i've seen him utter since LAL last season.
He also backs his opinions up with such weak facts, in this instance, 4 sub-par rebounding opponents caused 26 boards.. Like its so easy

Is he hired to be a devil's advocate at all costs? or is he just a stubborn hater, getting paid to dilute the quality of shows?

Good point. Entertainment and Media usually work that way.

I used to think SAS was as bad as Skip.

But this past year i've started to realise that SAS presents good facts (most of the time) and articulates them superbly.
He is still a little douchey but at least theres a modicum of logic and rationality in his discussions

lol don't you people realize Skip is genuinely just trolling? I mean, that's literally his job and how he makes a good amount of money. LeBron could win 8 more rings with 8 straight MVP's and he'd still find a way to 'hate', because it will drive ratings. I bet he actually loves LeBron.

I think his Screamin A presentation style dilutes his credibility in a lot of peoples' eyes, which I understand. But it does seem like a lot of NBA and NFL players trust him and speak to him candidly. IIRC, he was the very first media personality Dwight called when the "50/50" narrative started, to clarify that he hadn't waffled in his decision to choose Houston.

Bias Spinless has a stance? That's new, I thought he was just riding the tide of hatred, and ****ting on whatever he hates at that moment...

    This.

Ive watched a couple of their episodes in the past and completely agree with the above.

Now that chick, she genuinely hates Dwight and anyone not named the Lakers. Listen to her tone of voice when reading out the stats and such. Listen to her on ESPN First take with Nelly. She has no clue whats going on about sports.

Cari is the worst. You'd think she at least knew a little about sports, but she really has no clue. Players are just names to her.

Cari looked like attending and hosting a funeral.
