Have you watched Harden play? Harden is not a flopper, he is just excellent in drawing body contact.

 

Haha!! Good comeback. The real haters are the ones who would consider starting Lin over AB. AB is a great playmaker too who doesn't look to shoot.

 

Well he was in top of the league with steals last year. I think he was 10th.

 

First playoff-caliber opponent. This will be a real test. Hopefully our guys make it competitive or (better yet) blow them out.

Hate to say this, but Harden is a better player than CP3 right now.

Let's compare last year, who had a better regular season? I'd say Harden

Playoffs, both 1st round exits and played about equal.


Your top 5 is your opinion. Chris Paul as great as you say he is hasn't even got you to the WCF yet...

 

My girl just surprised me with tickets to the game! Will be going semi-incognito wearing my red Keck School of Medicine T-shirt. If you're at the game and have a heart-attack, I got your back - but only if you're wearing red / rockets gear, of course.

 

Going to the game too with a buddy. Don't plan on having a heart attack but I'll wear some Rox gear just in case...

Paul's PER last season was 27, shot nearly 50%, led the league in assist to turnover ratio. Harden is a great player but face it, Paul is on another level.

 

I hope Asik and Howard make Blake "earn" his flops...

Best pg in the league vs. Best SG in the league, I'd take the SG who is an elite scorer any day of the week. One who is regarded in passing Kobe on the food chain.

Harden is in his first season as a starter, lead a newly put together team with only Parsons as a returning starter to a 45 wins, and won as many playoff w's as CP3.

It never hurts to be prepared Salty Clipper tears may lead to rapid increases in blood pressure. And with the twin towers overshadowing lob city, I expect plenty of NaCl.

I'm very fortunate to be here. The hospital where I work / study is only 1.5 miles away from the Staples center.

 

Most likely Harden, and at times, Lin (while he is playing SG and AB is playing PG). Crawford can definitely be a handful. I'm more concerned about CP3 forcing Lin into a ton of turnovers.

Also, I'm not sure if Darren Collison is playing tomorrow. My girl is a huge fan of him (she was a classmate of his @ UCLA). It's too bad Bev isn't going to play and wreck Collison defensively :grin:

 

How do people think Harden is better than Paul? Paul may go down as one of the greatest point guards to ever play this game. Harden is nowhere near his level.

 

When talking purely about who is the better player, CP3 has it for now.

But when talking about who you'd rather build a team around, and who'd you rather be your leader going into the playoffs, it's another matter entirely. CP3 is a great individual player but his teams are perennial losers.

 

It's called being a homer. Harden is pretty good but my gawd he is overrated on this board.
