And scouts questioned Keenum's arm. That second td to Andre traveled 55 yds without much effort. I see Keenum being a Rich Gannon type which is a very good thing.
Yeah I don't get that part of the scouting report. He lead Andre on both passes. He has been good at doing that. We are used to the whole under thrown ball for far too long. The 3rd TD to Andre was a little under thrown and should have been put up higher but it worked out in the end. Could have been knocked down or INT. He's still learning but it looks like he's learning fast. Bottom line Bullock sucks and any kicker that is 13 of 20 for the season needs to have his job on the line. Way too many chances and big kicks that he has missed. The secondary got burned as well, but still we should have a W.
Fine, go ahead. Lock my threads. But me, JJ and Andre are out. JJ and I are heading over to Dallas. Andre, to the 49ers because goddamnit he's earned it. And we're not a spineless woman who will take a beating from her bf every night and stick with him because she's "loyal". What's loyalty when you're bent over every night with blood around your face, battered and bruised, with nothing but tears to show for it. You can't choose family but you can choose the ones you love. Why love something that turns it's back on you each and every time? Hey, I guess some of you girls like that but not me. I'm a HIGH CLASS BROAD WITH OPTIONS. I DON'T HAVE TO DEAL WITH THIS BULL****. I WON'T HAVE ANY OF IT. I'M DONE WITH IT.
We had a chance to pour it on in first quarter, got to red zone or there abouts and in typical kubiak fashion 3 rd down run up the middle then instead of kicking field goal he surprisingly goes for it on fourth, "wth? Is kubs growing a pair?" Then runs it up the middle again... Terrible .
Had to step away from the computer but haven't noticed too many talking about Foster and his continued nagging injuries. Its looking like he's going down and going down fast. Maybe that's why he put himself up for investment and took the 10 million because he knows his body is breaking down. So many holes on this team and coaching staff. Too much to over come, even for our star in the making Keenum. Need to start over with the coaching staff, GM, etc. , have strong draft and start fresh next year.
wasnt it cool seeing a QB hit a receiver in stride...that First TD to Andre was in stride... 2nd one Andre was surprised that he actually sped up for the ball...and that last TD by Case...was a bread basket kinda throw...Case gives this team a chance...primarily because he attacks the deep routes and gives receivers a chance to make plays and forces DB's to cover the routes well... We will not see those squatting DBs anymore... If Arian was healthy, I do think this team wouldve had the continuity on the ground to win in the second half...That is why Arian is so valuable to this offense...his ability to keep the ground game relevant. Tate was trying his best, but so many runs were because of poor tackling by the Colts as opposed to break out runs by Tate...
Colts needed 5 points to win the game...if there was any time for the defense to play better that was it.
"Arm strength" isn't really about how far you can throw the ball. It's about how fast the ball gets there. Most QBs can throw the ball 50 yards. But a QB with a stronger arm can throw it on a lower trajectory and get the ball to the receiver faster, giving less time for the defender to recover if the receiver gets open. I watched Case at UH. He threw the ball deep all the time and often hit his receivers in stride. He just put a lot of loft on the ball when he did it. That's where the criticism of arm strength comes from. Reportedly, it has improved in his year on the practice squad from where it was in college. It tends to get overblown. What good is a QB with an elite arm who isn't accurate and has a low football IQ (Jamarcus Russell?)? Would you like for your QB to have a super strong arm? Sure. But is it the end all, be all? Nope. There are plenty successful QBs who simply have good arms and not elite ones. Peyton being the best current example.
Spoken like a true Kubiak Shawb supporter. Here, chill out, take a hit of this. Just inhale. Sorry, but some of us grew up as scrum-halfs and fullbacks. As winners. Champions. Far be it for me to brag, but I'm a guy who graced the cover of a regional magazine for my exploits. And we don't deal with **** like this. So pardon me while I distance myself from you and your group of pothead friends who just want to sit in your van and TELL EVERYONE IT'S JUST A GAME. NOTHING MATTERS, JUST ENJOY THE GAME, KEEP LOSING OR BEING MEDIOCRE, IT'S ONLY HOUSTON, AS LONG AS WE HAVE OUR GUACAMOLE AND GRILL, NOT DALLAS WHERE WE TRY TO WIN IN ADDITION TO BEING WELL FED You can take that water bong and **** IT UP **** ****** ****************
I think we're seeing the repercussions of him having the most carries in the league over the last 3 years. RBs are notorious for having quick declines and short careers. Running them into the ground doesn't help any.
um ok. you act as if this is the first time this team has failed to put the opponent away. if it was an isolated case, i would agree with you 100%. but, this is almost a weekly thing. aka, it's nothing new. aka aka, kubiak's collapse had nothing to do with it.
We are eliminated from the playoffs now. Even if they play on fire there is no way they win out (which is what is needed now) Lets put in Schaub and tank this thing out
lololol i was thinking the exact same thing!!! schaub gives us our best chance to lose to JAX. if keenum is the franchise qb we hope he is, and if we can add sammy watkins or marquise lee to AJ & Hopkins.... I think we can get this boat turned around sooner rather than later.
