I'm glad he's okay. Shame on those who are talking about firing someone at a time like that. Stupidity.
I'm normally not one to care about censorship or decorum, but you honestly need to have your ass kicked.
how is it stupid when you consider that healthy he's a bad coach. now he has health issues which makes him a better coach?!?! there is still 8 games left in the season, it doesn't stop for kubes. seems valid to me especially a leave of some kind and then after season evaluation for his job next year. like i said not a personal issue, i hope for a full recovery
Let us know when your mom gets diagnosed w cancer so we can start criticizing her for raising a terrible son.
internet tought guy i live in the houston area, pm me time/place i'll be there. this forum is schizo!!! somebody dies or a natural disaster kills hundreds if not thousands and this forum turns into night at the improv, open mic night, etc... kubes goes to the hospital and everybody says he's alright but posters get their panties in a bunch and get all emotional. also, pm donnymost he'll tell you the time and the place and you can come along. i'll be there with my mom
I hope Kubes is as well as reports are saying, I've never seen such a dichotomy of fortune between the first and second half.. Full Texans glory of last season (with the added Chasanity) to the pathetic status quo of our season in the space of a half time break
All three of you are being disrespectful, this is not about Kube's in the context of being a coach, but as a human being. Similarly, Donny and SWT, you guys are getting too defensive and personal. SWT, what a disgusting thing to say
i agree. i am very happy coach kubiak is ok, and his collapse is nothing major (heart attack & stroke). mcnair should not fire him right now. that would be cold blooded. coach kubiak should be fired at the end of the season.
I speculated that earlier in the thread, simply due to the talk about dehydration and him crippling over in pain (and they ruled out stroke/heart attack), but I didn't have any real basis behind it. They're apparently doing MRI's today, which are no good for kidney stones, so either they're trying to find something else that was wrong, or it wasn't stones.
They keep talking about dehydration but that seems silly to me. I've been severely dehydrated before and passed out from heat stroke. It wasn't some excruciating pain like Kubiak obviously went through. Before he even started walking he was holding his head in pain and then on the ground he looks like he wants to scream from the pain. That doesn't look like dehydration symptoms to me.
I'm not an internet tough guy, you're just an internet dumb ass. Kidney stones would make a lot more sense given what they've ruled out plus the symptoms (dizzyness, pain/numbness in the side, etc). A stone can put you on your butt in a heartbeat. Seems that there would have been some signs earlier though.
Good to see that he's okay and I hope his health is in good standing moving forward...it was a scary moment and definitely killed the mood of the game, rightfully so.
