    Dude...no.

The defense didn't get a stop when they needed, the Colts ran into the line 3 straight times to play the clock game. The defense, yet again, gave up long drives, committed bad penalties, didn't cause turnovers...

Sorry, the defense IS a problem. Defense and special teams are killing this team still. The secondary is mediocre at best and they get embarrassed by the lack of a pass rush.

Vegas have us a 2.5% before this game.

Only one team has made the playoffs after 2-6 start

Stick a fork in them, done like a Thanksgiving turkey

The season is effectively over, so there's nothing to cheer about, until the season ends and we have a high pick.

I think Case was trying to catch Indy off guard - everyone knows spiking the ball and stopping the clock is the logical thing to do, but Case tried to do things differently.

I like that we are officially out, makes watching games bearable now that I know they don't really matter (unless it's for the tanking)

Uh, what? A ton of games should and do come down to the kicker.

    Official now

    The season is over.

8 more games to play out but no post season. Now or next 10 years.

    Welcome to hell Texan fans.

This Luck dude can play and he plays for the Colts, who owns the division yet again after 2 years absence.

Case did great but this is a cursed team.

Spend a pick on a kicker who officially lost the only game the team could have won in the last 6.

    Good job there.

Anyone want to guess when the team will release him?

Now is Case the starting QB for a wasted season or do fans still need to see #8?

No, there is a chance...but very unlikely since it would mean having to beat the Colts, Broncos, and Patriots...as well as all the other games.

    mortreport Chris Mortensen
Smith also did tell @TafoyaNBCSports that there was a possibility Kubiak could rejoin team on Monday. But nothing definitive.

Right, because there has never been a fat kicker.

Sorry I completely disagree. I know by some metric, yards allowed I believe, the Texans are ranked number one. But looking at stats that matter like red zone defense, turnovers created, finding some fing balls in the 4th quarter, they are a complete pile of suck.

Brice McCain might have played the worst game I have ever seen at CB. There were several instances where this would have gotten out of hand much earlier if Luck and his receivers were on the same page. JJo getting burnt, KJ with another 50 yard penalty, Reed's stupid penalty, the secondary is VERY much responsible for this loss.

God what a depressing, disheartening, headache inducing, pile of **** season.

Sad thing is Keenum will probably lead the team to 6 or 7 wins and just enough to head back to the mediocrity treadmill.

Oh and for God sakes cut Bullock at tonight's conference!!!

Tanking? The Texans have been tanking since the first game of the season. The two victories could easily have been defeats. To blow the lead they had? It wouldn't surprise me to see the Texans finish 4-12.

Let's close up shop. Keenum deserves to finish the year at QB.

It's time for Rockets Basketball to save the Houston faithfuls.

But most importantly, pray for Gary and his health. The Texans missed his presence in the second half, they looked dead.

Could be completely wrong here, but don't kicker's need a little meat on their bones to build momentum on their kicks?
