i hate to say it, but a lot of it has to do with reggie wayne being out. i know you guys hate hearing it, but it's the truth.
If the Texans defense was getting shredded, they'd certainly bring it up. Since its the Colts offense that's struggling, its a valid assessment. I agree they're mentioning it quite a bit, but the Colts offense is also sucking quite a bit. Also, nobody knows what Luck can do without security blankets such as All-pro WR's.
Ok time of offense to add on to this lead. They should be on the brink of breaking this game wide open.
Cushing is pretty crucial to the Texans defense and Daniels and Foster are big pieces on offense yet hardly anything mentioned.
On the flip side, If Dre had gone down for the year, I am pretty positive they would be talking about it just as much. Each team's biggest impact/ star player.
Reggie Wayne hid a lot of Andrew Luck's flaws as a passer, he isnt that accurate of a qb. He is a super athletic mobile qb( who plays nothing like Peyton Manning), but closer to Cam Newton with better intangibles... Reggie Wayne drew 2 defenders which left those other speedy recievers TY Hilton( in particular by themselves)..... without Wayne it forces Luck to be more careful with his throws, and that is something that the colts management has already begun and stressed for him to do( because last year with Arians they let him throw the ball around and he was a turnover machine), Luck is a game-manager this year( the loss of Wayne hurts the Colts probably more than any team in the league outside of the Bengals losing Geno Atkins)
Surprised our crappy right side of the line has handled Mathis well. I saw 3 blocks in the back on that return... but apparently this ref crew lets those go.
Special teams really costs the Texans, time and time again. Really a shame. Now the Colts are set up with good field position for half ending drive.
