So, Bill Simmon's favorite sports gambler Bob Voulgaris (and a big Morey fan) just went on a big twitter rant about how Durant should leave OKC, and for Houston, because OKC's ownership is greedy and horrible. I believe Kendrick Perkins' horrible play in the ongoing PHX game is the trigger for the rant.

Bill Simmons, who spend quite a bit of his NBA preview with Jalen hating on the Harden trade for OKC, chimed in also.

I will never understand how Morey swung the Harden trade. That'll go down as an all-time steal.

If Kevin Durant ends up leaving OKC, then the Harden trade can be officially responsible for the complete and utter destruction of a championship team.

I love the moron talking about locker room cancer and how Harden didn't want to be 3rd banana. I'm sure Harden would still be in OKC if Presti/OKC were willing to either give him max money (and either take the luxury hit as Voulgaris suggests or AMNESTY PERKINS) or maybe even just have that no trade clause inserted in like he wanted. /smh

But the crazy part isn't just that Morey swung that trade -- I've heard Washington and GS first turned Presti down o_O

As great as it would be to have KD, Harden & Howard I just don't see how it's possible unless there is a huge increase in the salary cap. No way OKC would ever trade Durant to Houston.

Why is suddenly Durant leaving an issue? He's signed until 2016. That's a freakin' eternity in the NBA. So much can change between now and then. I mean if he was a free agent in the summer, I'd understand.

Yeah we need Durant in our team badly, so he cannot go off on us every game we are to play.

Maybe Durant's been complaining to friends and associates to put pressure on OKC to improve? Kind of like Derrick Rose's brother talking about Chicago's situation though Rose is also under contract for years to come. I am guessing this is where Jalen Rose got his "hunch."

I don't think we are in "imminent trade demand" territory now, but Durant may be giving OKC warning that we will be in a year or two if things keep going the way it has gone of late.

Just keep selling the idea that Houston is a free agent destination place.

Wow, if that happens OKC fans would absolutely hate Houston.

And what is Bob's angle in this? I'm sure this tweet is somehow +EV for him, otherwise he wouldn't have tweeted it.

Unless they win in the next 3 years, Durant's definitely leaving. I don't think he'll come to the Rockets, because that will take Morey TRULY have to be a wizard to field enough great role players next to Harden/Howard while at the same time free up 2016 capspace. But no way Durant wants to live in that place if he can't even win a single title.

I think Durant wants to force trade to come to houston.

Asik, parsons, Lin for Durant and filler?

It's not often that a city steals an entire basketball team. I think taking 1 or 2 players from that city would be fair game ;)

**** you Bennett. Take my Sonics from me. I hope Durant does leave. He's too good for that organization.
