How about we show some support to our team's PG who has improved his game and so far done well against opposing PG's, you who call yourself a True Rocket "fan".

I am a true rockets fan. It's obvious Paul is a much more supior point guard. I have nothing against Lin, I love what he's done this year. I am actually wearing a red and black nike Linsanity shirt. I think I show him enough support.

 

CP3 is great, but cmon he isn't going to go off. He'll be playing better than Lin but Lin isn't a scrub bench.

 

Lol.. now you guys are calling out fellow Rockets fans as not being true because they say CP3 will outplay Lin badly? What a joke SMH. There is a difference between being a true, knowledgeable fan and an idiot homer.

wow agreed haha. I am a huge rockets fan and I would say that CP3 is arguably the best PG in the league right now. And Lin is definitely not. Even Lin would agree.

 

LOL, wow alot of CP3 nuthuggers here. CP3 is the best pg in the league, but to say he's going to drop 40 on us is asinine. He is not Harden/Bron/Melo/Kobe's level. He didn't even drop 40 last year and he scored 40+ on Curry, so what? 38 PER? LOL it's 2 games into the season.

Only player scoring 40+ is Harden, Twin Towers will swat everything.

 

You've been respectful and intelligent, but you've also been around long enough to know that it's not polite to stir this particular pot.

I'm not generalizing but it's pretty rude of the poster I'm referring to call out a fellow Rockets fan's loyalty because he said CP3 would outplay Lin is all. I have no ill will towards anybody here but that particular comment WAS indeed dumb. I realize this isn't my home and I'm a visitor.

 

Chris Paul is pretty much the universally accepted 3rd best player in the NBA the last two years so to say he's not on the level of Melo, Harden and Kobe is wrong on all accounts and the tangible things (numbers) prove it time and time again. Why does a PG need to drop 40 to prove anything? It's actually 3 games into the season and after reading back I'm trying to figure out where ANYBODY told you CP3 would drop 40?

Obviously the odds of him dropping 40 considering he's done it like 3 times in his career, are very low. He can definitely drop an efficient 25/10/5/3 and still demolish his matchup.

 

Because the conversation was about SCORING, not PG play. I already stated he's the best PG in the league.

 

Well if you're talking about... if he consistently scores 25+ ppg then of course he's not on their level but what does that matter anyways? That's by choice quite frankly because when he's aggressive he drops hyper efficient 30 games at will.. but normally prefers passing. In other words CP3 when he wants to attack more IS on their level, but usually he chooses not to.

 

There is no such thing as a Lakers-turned-Clippers fan. The two fanbases detest each other. There are probably casual fans who root for both teams and root more for the Clippers now that they are better, but they would never frequent message boards because they don't care that much.

 

Clippers > Lakers, yay~~~!

 

So 20 is the over/under for CP3. I'm calling for the under. Blake Show, are you going to come back here if he goes under?

 

Why not? I didn't make any bold predictions or anything. So we are betting that he won't score at least 20 right? I'll definitely take that bet because I've been right next to Doc screaming at Chris to attack more. I think CP3 is going to get back to being a 22-23 ppg scorer this year.

 

Alright! My rep means little here but I'll take the fun bet. I'm going to say he gets held to less than 17
