Nick Foles at 6 TDs halfway through the 3rd. Can he break the record?

An Old-Fashioned Shootout in Foxboro. It was looking like another New England blowout.

Damnit I thought Schiano was gonna have some balls and go for it. What do they have to lose??? There's no chance they win this game in OT, might as well ship it!!!

Schiano and Pete Carroll can both DIAF at midfield after this one's over. Which will be any moment now.

It never ceases to amaze me when a vastly inferior team and coach finds itself in a position win a game, takes the less risky choices in hopes of surviving to fight on later in the foolish belief that delay = better chance at victory.

You make risk averse choices when your team can do better down the line in normal situations. The problem is sucky teams suck in normal situations, and generally are competitive in games against better teams due to a combination of: lucky bounces, the better team playing down earlier, and good execution. You cannot play for overtime (or make similar risk averse decisions) against better teams and expect a better chance at winning than making normally risky choices in optimal situations.

None of it is all that surprising though.

Well before the Antonio Smith incidents, the league new about Incognito's past. He was kicked out of college, and he's been routinely near the top of the "most dirtiest players" list.

The fact that he's one of the "leaders" on the Dolphins says a lot about the state of that organization.

Jesus ****ing christ, what a disappointing season. Loosing to the Browns to basically put the nail in the coffin to this season. First loss to the Browns since 2007, **** I'm at a loss of words.

I think after last season's miracle run, the Ravens should be in for the same sort of waiting period for future success that the Rockets had after their miracle run in 1995.

    Nick Foles. Wow.

Philly's probably kicking themselves they kept giving Vick so many chances..."potential" gets coaches fired...

If you can get to the playoffs, you have a chance in the NFL. Five straight for the Ravens, a couple of AFC championship games, granted there's been a lot of turnover, but they are still a talented team. Won't count them out any year, Ozzie knows how to stay competitive. A receiver, TE and a center and they are right back in there imo.

I know all of this. The Ravens will probably win again before the new Browns ever do.

    You'll be just fine.

So every quarterback except Brandon Weeden is succeeding for Cleveland.

It's one game against a bad team. I get sick of hearing about people rave about Foles when he has a good game just to **** on Vick, although I am glad Foles did have a good game for obvious reasons. That's not to say that I prefer Vick over Foles but Foles is just as inconsistent as Vick. I don't think he is the long term answer, hell I am not even sure if he is the better option this season. I know Vick isn't coming back next season but I don't want Foles to be considered the long term answer either.

do you think Vick's performance sank Andy Reid? He's looking like a decent coach this year in KC....9-0.

ugh Nick Foles was there last year and stunk along with Vick, who do you think was playing when Vick was injured last year.... this more of a fluke game than anything, also Chip Kelly's offense, must we forget how bad Foles looked againist Dallas when suffered the concussion
