They should start Bev. But set PnR when Lin is on the court. Lin only got it going in the offense after rocket somehow realized that this guy needs PnR.
I will go out on a limb and say that there was a 100% chance that at some point during the night, win or lose the game, this thread was bound to become a thread about whether or not Lin should start. As will every single game thread in the future - win or lose - until Lin starts again. The LOFs are OBSESSED with Lin starting. For them it's not even about basketball, it's some sort of pride/honor thing. Ah well, made it to 100+ pages before it happened... I guess that's something.
I agree it is incredibly dumb . That is why you don't go out and say I have two starting PG's. Because now he has created a media frenzy and if Bev plays poorly people will ask should you start Lin & if Lin plays poorly people will say start Bev. All that creates is a needless distraction for the team and a distraction for Bev & Lin.
They'll go down when Bev comes back. He has to play a lot right now because we can't afford to have Brooks in the game too often.
They will probably go with the quicker Dudley but if James goes James then they might endup having to switch Barnes as a last resort.
Actually, I'd argue that it is actually the other way around. I am a die-hard Rockets fan before Lin has ever joined the Rockets. To me, it makes tons of basketball sense to have two attackers in the game. Plus, both JH and Lin are exceptional passers.
It won't stop if Lin starts again. last season when TD was here, there was a lot of argument saying TD should start instead of Lin. If you have an argument on whether Lin should start or not, let's heAr it. If you do not want to hear it, there is a button called ignore. It is post like yours the turns a peaceful discussion into name calling.
Yes, Rockets better be bringing their A game. They've been winning on their B and C game so far from their talent it won't get them past the Clippers though.
I have LP on Time Warner cable. It also allows you to access LP broadband from the computer on the NBA website and on the NBA smartphone app.
I think he is merely saying that Mchale should not feed the media with such things. It is not good. You can never tell whether what the media are saying will get into the players head. When the media is constantly putting Beverly up against Lin as if one starts the other will die, it never a good thing. It is a basketball problem, so it is better to keep it that way.
