Parsons kept us in the game in the 1st, Harden , Lin lead us to win in the 2nd. Rockets win, everyone happy, good game . bring on the Clips
I think Lin should start and play the exact minutes that he did today. Replace AB's minutes with Bev tonight and the game isn't even close.
Exactly, that's how I think Mchale should do it. I like that Bev brings an energy off of the bench and changes the game up.
If the team is winning, I don't believe Coach McHale will change it even if he wanted to off-season. Why risking the chemistry among starters? It took a whole season to build it among Asik, Lin, JH, and CP. Consistency and continuation win championship.
He could play with either unit. 20 for Lin, 23 for Harden, Lin 7-13, Harden 7-15 and took more FTs. Lin doesn't have the chemistry with Howard yet, though. Harden and Parsons have much better chemistry with him so Howard and Lin need practice. Team needs Beverly, Brooks tries but he's lost something.
I don't recall McHale saying anything about it, but our own announcers (Clyde or Bill I think) have said that before.
I realize that we're stumbling and bumbling a bit with the new team, but really, this is the best, most balanced team I've seen since the championship days. I've been watching for a long time. I've been disappointed on an annual basis ever since the dagger in '96. This is the first team since then I've felt really optimistic about. This team is going to win a championship. Maybe not this year, but it is going to happen.
This is a great win! We have really grown as a team from last year. Last year, if we got down, we would always fight back maybe even take the league but falter at the end. I know it's only one game, but we took the lead and built upon it. We had total control once we got the lead. Something we didn't have last year!
Nice. Back to back IN UTAH is always annoying. They simply have a hidden extra Home court advantage there. So I'll take the win most definitely. I don't ask for much. A split in our next two against the Clippers and the Blazers on the road will be fine.
for years we've tried to win on effort and gimmicky offenses but now we can pretty much win on talent alone most nights. we've played subpar the last three games but are 3-0 with a 10+ point differential... it's nice to not play that well and still win
