After pathetic first half, Lin played good defense (likely after getting an earful from coaching) on Lucas & Burks. Overall I thought he had a great second half and helped Harden and the team pull out this tough back to back road win at Utah. Eh hem…airball 3. Parsons kept the team in the game in the first half, and Garcia again gave them a big boost. But I think they gotta figure out how to balance the Howard post-ups vs PnRs, so that the team’s offensive rhythm isn’t bogged down. Three ugly games…last year the team would not have won all three. This experience should help them later on in the season. I am worried about Harden’s ankle and the 40+ minutes played. But awsome win after a horrible start.
Hack a Dwight looks to be a non-issue now. Now if only his post-game improves. Chandler is back and sexier than ever. Just needs to stop pumpfaking so much. Lin played like ****, then showed the world he's on MCW level. I think McHale should let him shoot midrange more. Harden pulled through in the 2nd half. Clutch shots in the end. Asik had his usual game. Great defense and nice hustle. Garcia - have my baby please! The biggest thing is that the team beat the Jazz in Utah and shut up that r****d Harping. Now on to LA for the real test.
Really refs, Lin gets hammered going to the hoop, lands on his back on the baseline and they call it a turnover ? Rockets win despite the bad officiating.
lin's d is always solid. he may not make any exciting play but he always tries to stay in front of his man and helps teammates in block area. you sounds like bev is going to stop cp3. please wake up. we are talking about CP3
Great stats. Parsons game is always silent but deadly since he doesn't really get highlight reel stuff.
Call me crazy but Asik is better defender than Howard. Yes, Howard is more explosive and blocks more shots but you don't need that for good defense, just force players to change their shots.
Shout out to the fans who called for a Rockets rally in the second half. The team showed true grit to win this game on the road against a very desperate team. Finally, Lin and Garcia played an excellent second half.
He should hopefully be allowed to build some chemistry with Dwight and actualize Dream's Deadly Combo.
Maybe it has happened, probably you historians like Tinman will know, but I can't remember when a Rockets team on a back to back traveled to Utah with zero rest in the thin air and got really "down" in the first half and then came all the way back to win the game. Maybe it has happened, but not very often. Really impressive. We haven't had this level of talent for a long, long, long time.
Y'all was saying theywas talking bad wish I could hear them down that stretch !!!!!! What was they saying ??
Lin plays a relax game. He has no pressure for this year. Unlike last year, the expectation is too high for him. If you pay attention to the game, you see he pick his shots and not forcing it. After all, it is Harden and Howard taking the blame now.
