While two games is a very small sample size, Dwight and Omer are # 1 and #2 in rebounds per 48 minutes by a wide margin at 30.5 and 29.7 respectively. That is domination. Noah from the Bulls is a distant 3rd at 22.3. ESPN STATS
I love this type of domination. With Beverly and Harden being above average rebounders for their position, I don't think we will lose many rebounding battles this year.

Obviously we should trade away our status as the #1 rebounding team in the league for another 3 pt shooter.
LOL. I am starting to agree that keeping Asik is the best course of action here. It is pretty rare to have such a major advantage in defense and rebounding. Any slight offensive or free throw struggles are nothing compared to the advantage this has been giving us. Plus, it is really good insurance to have two star centers in the event of injuries.
Honestly, if he can stay on the floor (foul trouble/injury concerns), I don't see why not. Our offense and defense has been great, we just need Bev back and Parsons to step up
First game Asik got 13 minutes with Dwight and 13 minutes by himself as the center. We go small ball and use Casspi at the 4 for roughly 36 mpg so far We started Casspi last game. We went TT less than 5 minutes against Dallas Coach seems to be making situational matchup decisions as we all said he should I'm not really seeing a contentious TT argument playing out so far. So far Coach has only used the together about 10 mpg. I don't think anyone preseason was arguing against 10 mpg, no? Weird how the debate still continues when Coach is way ahead of us on using TT situationally
Asik got 12 rebounds in 15 minutes last night. That's almost 29 boards per 36 minutes. That said, individual rebounding numbers aren't as meaningful as team rebounding.
Casspi did not start, Asik picked up two fouls in the first 50 seconds so Mchale had to sit him and then Casspi came in.
