After 2 games and some pre-seasons I have to say that Houston looks like a team to go all the way. Yes, I follow Casspi and he plays well but looking at the team and its amazing trio: Harden, Howard and Lin I must say this team is built like a team to win some titles. Only my humble opinion from far away.
Nice humble opinion! I still need more time to see how the TT plays out. We just look so much better offensively when it's only Dwight or Omer in the paint.
Sorry to a Debbie Downer but as of right now this team should go deep in the playoff but not win it all. Still need a reliable second scorer/creator and/or a legitimate PF. Better to keep it real and look to improve on your glaring/obvious weakness than to fool yourself into contentment.
TLV is actually the international airport code for Israel International Airport but here in Israel we use it as Abb. for TeL aviV
Get out of here with your POSITIVE thread. We just suffered two wins and want Rockets blood. Blow up the team, fired McHale, and sell the team to Seattle.
Thats why its so easy to root for Omer. There is no drama. He plays hard, takes care of business, and you dont have to worry about Omer-only-fans polluting this board.
Not sure what props means but i dont think Casspi is important for the team like HHL. Casspi is a good addition, maybe 6th man, but Harden is the MAN, i love this guy (although he has scary beard), Howard is the big guy any serious team needs and Lin is the must have Guard.
If you read my first posts here on the same day Casspi signed with rockets i said Houston did a good deal and Casspi will be a good player ...so far ... so good
Hey Ben, the announcers mentioned that yesterday's game was being broadcasted in Israel because of Mekel and Casspi. How was the general atmosphere in Tel Aviv? Did people hype up the game like Yi vs. Yao?
