he put it in the Parsons vs. Garcia thread... ... and then ten minutes later thought his opinion was so important it needed to be copy/pasted into its own discussion
I have said for the longest time that CP is the most overrated player in the GARM. He is 25, pretty much at his ceiling and his stats last season were inflated. A great glue guy but should be 4th or 5th best player on a Championship team
Just proves my early point....don't play like a scrub and think about fashion and ****... go to the Gym and practice your shot until you are at least 75% Jeff Hornacek...talking about some fukkking shoes... That's not the mindset of a key guy on a Championship team...
Parsons is having the most difficult time adjusting to having Dwight in the middle. If he's really as good as he has proven up to this point, he will make the adjustment in due time. he's the one guy on our team who doesn't need the ball to be effective. He shoots well from beyond the arc and he finishes at the rim. he's invaluable to a team with two ball dominant superstars.
this might be the most idiotic thing ive seen in a while, and thats saying alot considering what the OP said.
Parsons is a good but not great player. People were talking last year that he would continue to improve and become a max player. He's our Batum/Prince a good do a little of everything glue guy, nothing more.
Parsons could be a 3rd best player on a championship contending team. What separates Parsons from Batum is that he's a good finisher at the rim. Parsons is a more complete player on the offensive end and he has the size and the quickness to guard his position, effectively.
Look this guy is a troll. I actually post substantive material. But I do enjoy reading these responses. Chandler Parsons only Fans, hilarious. Must be some guys really wanting more caucasian americans in the game.
that's not Parsons' strength, that's not what this team needs from him. plus, McHale wants to run and speed the game up, last thing we need is someone outside of our 2 ball dominant superstars, slowing the game down by holding the ball. let alone doing something he's not good at(posting up).
And he was working his game extensively during the off season. Look for Parsons to start accelerating his offense and mental mindset in the upcoming games. All players have some rust. Get off his nuttzzz, he ain't on yours!
