its time to sell high on parsons...package him with Lin or Asik for a true third star.....Parson == good to above average at everything, but not great at anything, except maybe running the break. I'd rather have a championship piece that is great at something. parsons is going to want too much on his next contract anyways!
Yes. We do need Garcia's defense and 3 pointers ability for the starting line up after Lin got bench. I think it's an upgrade. Howard and Harden should pair more with spot up shooters like Beverley and Garcia as they always draw double team. Parson should pair with Lin to get some easy shots and our bench will be most powerful in the league.

I dont really agree with this reasoning. Morey will trade who he wants to trade when he needs to trade them regardless of agent.

Yeah you are crazy if you think Garcia will be starting. There is a system, being ran, and McHale likes the spark Garcia gives along with Lin off the bench. But you can't just look at the numbers, especially after 2 games. Chandler does so many little things not on the box score. I love Garcia, don't get me wrong, but you are out of your mind. CP has better handles, his 3 will start falling, plays better D, rebounds better, is more athletic, is a better passer, so yeah not going to happen.

About McHale letting players who are playing well get more playing time: I distinctly remember several games last season when Lin was having a great game into the 4th quarter and McHale puts him on the bench for most of the rest of the game.
Really like em both. CP looked like he was measuring and had a hitch in his shot last night. If he'll relax and get his rhythm, he'll come around to the CP we all know. Having a player like Garcia coming in off the bench is a characteristic of championship contenders. Garcia brings so much energy, it might be best to limit his minutes a little bit during the regular season.
It's not good pissing agents off.. Unless it's a substantial improvement, and Parsons doesn't go to a bottom of the barrel team, he'll be here for the long run.
I don't doubt that Chandler is busy doing more than considering shoes. He's looking for his shot. He's got a magnifying glass and he's looking high and low. When he finds it again, we'll have to suffer through countless "Parson's an All Star?" threads, just like we have to suffer through "Trade Parsons NOW!!" threads after 2 freakin' games.
Chandler seems to be pressing a bit. I think he feels pressure to be the third star on the team. It doesn't help that he's severely underpaid so he feels added pressure to put up big numbers to get a big pay day. Also, Garcia and Casspi are coming along and they're going to push Chandler for minutes, especially if he doesn't find his three point shot soon. A lot of pressure on him this season.
Garcia will be CP25's best teacher. He has so much experience about how to set a tone and learn read the court. Hope CP mature his most efficient playstyle
