CP3 got 6 TOs other night, no one is saying he got too many turnovers.

    So totally agree with you!

Everyone's a team first kind of guy and they are very supportive of each other.

    <3 this team!

P.S. Have faith in CP -- he will find his shot

    Positive Energy!

    Great point!

Although, they were probably distracted by the 42 points, 15 assists, and 6 steals.

    LOL

To be fair, CP3 also turned in a indisputably phenomenal overall performance and absolutely carried the Clips on his back to that win. Of course he'll get a pass. You always will, when you put on a clinic the way he did.

You clearly didn't even watch the game, or you've only been watching basketball since linsanity if you make a comment like that. When lin can pull off the stats CP3 did that game, everyone will gladly excuse 6 turnovers. but when you have half as many turnovers as you do points, that'll be a problem.

CP3 had over 40 points I think. I really don't care about number of TOs when you are being aggressive and scoring a lot, but that wasn't the case. Anyway, opposing PGs didn't do well either, so . . .

Yes, we like to pick on Jeremy Lin and TOs because what else is there to complain about when he has a pretty decent game?

My only expectation for Lin tonight was to play good defense (also, one of our arguments for moving him to the 2nd unit) and he performed better than I expected. Dare I say, he was better vs Calderon than Beverley vs Walker? He completely shut JC down!! When does that happened?!

But we don't like to celebrate good Lin things, so we focus on the TOs. As POTUS Obama once referenced Jay-Z, "sometimes you just got to [gestures brush-dirt-off-shoulder]. It's what you got to do".

Nah, Lin put up crazy scoring during Linsanity and pundits still brought up the TOs, as if he was the only PG to ever commit them.

Lin only had 38 points and 7 assists against the Lakers so barely anybody in the media excused his 6 turnovers. It makes sense. No double-standard at all.

Jeremy does need to cut down his TOs if only for one reason: McHale doesn't like TOs. "Jeremy, we're trying to win games here."

Knowing Jeremy, he'll be the first one to criticize himself for his TOs.

Oh, I thought we were talking about people in this thread discussing tonight's turnovers. Wasn't aware we were talking about the media discussing turnovers from a game that happened over a year ago....

Did Parsons bonk his head or something? He's 0-10 from 3 now over the course of 2 games. Man getting famous killed his shooting stroke or something?

I watched every single game of Linsanity in addition to the Boston and Houston games he played as a Knick before any of that happened. Lin was being worshipped as a god in NY during Linsanity, and the media was constantly bringing up the records he was shattering with his play.

But yeah, continue to act like a damned petulant child every time people legitimately criticize Lin for something he did poorly. "Yeah, but..but..but..."

    Jesus Christ.
