After Lin's big and-1 in the 2nd Q, Dwight rose from the bench and bowed... masterful technique by Superman.

I was so keen for Beverley to eat his lunch money but Lin did a great job.

Having them go at it in practice is only going to make them both better players, ergo better for da Rokits

Upon reflection, I really liked the game Lin played. He was careless with the ball, but he was aggressive and he created. When Bev gets back, he, Garcia and Asik will create one of the best second team's in the league.

Nah, this was an above average performance. THe turnovers were mostly all from the 1st half. If this was just ok, then your standard is just too high. For a slightly above average starting pg, this was a good performance. For all his turnovers he was still a +14 on the floor.

Freaking Eric Bledsoe had 5 turnovers, shot 4-15, but hey he made the shot that counted and his team won, so who cares.

I do agree that he needs to play off the ball more. Everyone has an off night. I think this year maybe a bit more challenging for Parsons. He won't get as many touches as he did last year with DH12 on this team. Also after the great season he had last year guys will be looking to take him down a notch. As long as he plays great D and does the little things I am good.

If AB can recapture some of his former glory, that PG position could be scaryyyy. I thought Canaan might at least suit up tonight.

    2-0 Let's go Rockets!

    Harden for MVP
    Howard for DPOY
Not against it but still not sold on Beverley starting over Lin. Our offense looks too good tonight (just like last year, even better with Howard) before Mavs went into zone. I like Lin carrying the 2nd unit and I also love the energy Beverley bring off the bench, tough call.
Coaching has some work to do, we had similar issues last season against zone defense.

    WINNING FORMULA

D Mo too often looks like he didn't do his homework. That will get you nailed to the bench permanently.

    2nd game.

2nd game of holding the opponent under 39% shooting.

2nd game we dominated the boards.

    and most importantly

    2nd win

    Go Rockets.

I don't know where the Mavs found Mekel, but he is a very good find. He is a very good playmaker with great poise. He is a typical floor general who has a solid shot on him.

    Not "eat his lunch"...
    Not "take his lunch money"...

...just cut out the middleman and eat the money itself.
