Don't worry DirecTV folks, I doubt any other carrier takes the offer either.

Just have to keep watching on streams, going to the bar (or however else you watch) or continue not watching (if you weren't already).

At this point...I'm just gonna shell out the money for League Pass Broadband. I downloaded something called Spotflux so the Rockets aren't blacked out. I can't go another month without the Rockets. Just can't

I actually think Suddenlink might take it. They were willing to take the May trial, but talks stalled over the "full region" mandate. But unlike the Astros, Rockets games are automatically blacked out for all but a small portion of the 5-state region (Houston, Beaumont, College Station, SW Louisiana I think?). Given that, it would make sense for CSN during NBA season to agree to a limited region compromise.

But you're right, probably not UVerse or Time Warner... they seem to be in lockstep with DTV in these negotiations. Those three know they hold the cards.

I was hoping someone would take it just to show that they are closer than they were a year ago. I guess they aren't any closer than they were a year ago.....

I will not switch to comcast or rely on crappy streams. Guess i'm SOL until the TNT game on Thursday. I'm going to watch the **** out of that game.

    On TV?

Pardon my ignorance. I don't know anything about League Pass. Never felt the need to watch that many games before, especially since TNT shows all the good ones already.

Yes. If your provider carries League Pass, then the games should be on your TV. They always run the first week of the season free.

But games are still blacked out locally, no? So in Houston, the Rockets games wouldn't show for him anyway.

It will be blacked out on tv....but if you use League Pass Broadband (on your computer), you can download something called Spotflux. It's basically a free VPN service. Just sign up for the League Pass free preview on NBA.com and you'll be able to watch the game.

If you have Directv go to the 700 channels and scroll upward. The low 700s are NFL Sunday Ticket while the mid 700s are NBA League Pass which is free until Tuesday.
