Directv determines blackouts by zip code and it shouldn't matter if it's a free preview or not. If they carried CSN they would redirect 757 to whatever channel CSN was on.

I am so pissed! The Rockets game is blacked out on NBA LP and I am in Nacogdoches which is definitely not within 100 miles of Houston..BS

How do you use a proxy to open up league pass? I tried HotSpot shield, but it still blocks the Dallas/Houston game tonight.

It says I can't open the program because it's from an unidentified developer.

I can't seem to switch between home and away announcers. I don't have the premium version, just the Internal LP. Can someone confirm premium version has the feature?

I would if I could my friend. Don't have the funds, just using League Pass free trial now.

I asked this in the NBA Dish, but I had previously read a lot of complaints about NBALP on TV saying that most games were NOT offered in HD. However, every game is offered on both regular and HD channels, and sometimes even both broadcasts (4 channels!). Is this something new they just started doing, or is this something only available during the trial period? What gives?

I'll do a quick little write up if you want a for sure way.

    1. Use a VPN (I don't recommend HotSpot shield) - I use http://privateinternetaccess.com
    2. Launch VPN, choose a city that's not Houston. (Don't use an international location or you'll get prompted for International league pass credentials. Use something like Florida)
    3. Clear cookies (ctrl+shift+delete if you use Firefox)
    4.Launch league pass
    5. Houston game is no longer blacked out.

You should already have it. Just have to tune to the league pass channels in your lineup

Thank you. I only need it for tonight though, so not sure I want to pay for their service. If I had the full League Pass service I'd probably buy it, but I don't have it. Do you think it's possible with any of those free services?

Thanks for replying I appreciate you trying to help me out. It's weird though because when I tried to watch it when they played the Bobcats the channel was just blank so I figured I didn't have it. I have it on the channel now and it's just showing the lineup of games. Hopefully the game pops up come 8 o'clock. I'm praying

Yes, in this case a free service should work just fine. follow same steps and remember to delete your cookies prior to launching league pass or even visiting nba.com

Why do you not recommend HoSpot Shield. I used it tonight with only a few problems. I have it installed on my laptop and desktop. When I was on wifi on my laptop I could not watch the game. When I was on my desktop that is hard wired I was able to watch.

Hey guys, I´ve been trying to watch the Houston x Dallas game played last night but NBA League Pass isn´t working.

    Anyone has the same problem?

I hope it works live for the game tonight haha.

you can't watch League Pass, on broadband or on cable tv, if you are in Houston.

    are you in H-town?

my friend in Amarillo told me the Fox Sports Dallas broadcast cut out last night. the Houston feed was working on LPBB fine.

I am watching the replay now.
