At THIS STAGE OF THEIR CAREER- Anthony Davis or Dwight Howard?

Half this board doesn't pay close attention to other players don't bother. They think Asik = Horford etc etc.

 

I would personally take KG over Howard and I believe him the superior player. But they're definitely at similar levels. And by similar levels I mean they were both perennially in the top-5, sometimes top-2/3 but never quite the best.

If you look back on Howard's career. From 2008-2011 he was considered anywhere from 2~5 in the NBA. If you think KG is on another level, that would imply KG was the best player in the NBA for several straight years. He was not. Shaq and/or Duncan were considered that during KG's prime.

 

Kg is way better than howard ever been. Peopple forget kg could defend all 5 positions, habdle the ball, score, block shots, etc.
Howard impact only came on one side of the floor. He cant hit a ft for his life.
On topic: righ now dwight, in 2 years AD, and if i could trade right now i will do it.

 

KG was in the conversation with Duncan and Shaq who are two top 15 players (at worst. Shaq in his prime is top 2 IMO) of all time.

Dwight was clearly behind Lebron. Do you think Hakeem and Dwight are on the same level because I can use the exact same argument with Hakeem and Dwight.
