So is CSN going to implode or what? I'm considering switching to Comcast so I can stop missing games however I would like to avoid Comcast if CSN is going down.

It's amazing how dumb owners can be. Why would you not be doing everything you can to get your team on as many TV's as possible? We are more than a year in this thing now.

So it is on the astros to make a deal, but no cable company wants to pay what astros want. It seems like we are where we started.

Id' hold out on switching for now if I were you. It looks like we might finally have some light at the end of the tunnel.

Yeah but apparently Crane is still the driver for any new deal. Which makes me think this will continue to drag on because he thinks the Astros should get a similar deal as the Yankees. He's delusional.

    NBA League Pass
    Showtime for 12 months
    $10 monthly DVR credit

It does me no good unless I want to watch other teams, which I guess I will have to do in light of no Rockets!!!!!

But, is there some way to get league pass through DTV on my ipad and watch the Rockets without blackout? Anyone?

Nope, not unless you stream them from one of the illegal sites. Or move to Dallas.

Crane/Astros are basically given an "extension" on the bankruptcy case of 6 weeks to find a more profitable deal than the one Comcast/NBC provides them. If not the bankruptcy case continues on 13/13/2013[must mean James Harden will win MVP? :) ]. The Rockets and all parties agreed to this 6 week "extension" to fix it.

The judge is basically saying to Crane..."If your so sure you can find a better deal, go find it. You have 6 weeks"

I think this is good news. Breaks the deadlock where Comcast has to bring the deals to the teams, gives a limited time window for the Astros to work so that at least we have a time frame to get stuff done.

Here's a comment I saw on another site about why this is so important to the Astros:

They turned it down once. Imagine they'll do so again, the bastards.

Not so fast. No carriers have accepted the deal yet.
