thx for the shoutout, rick. worked perfectly for me. right at about one (central) or so, i got a flood of tweets from the @n5stock acct with every single link to each variant. the user sent out a test tweet yesterday to make sure it worked. did you test tweet yourself a few times to verify the settings were correct yesterday? pic w/time of the first tweet. check his acct and you'll see the barrage of tweets that followed. you'll see that pretty much everyone else got'em. edit: deleted huge screenshot. another edit... my order was confirmed by google and card already charged.
Was waiting for the next gen iPad mini, but the increased price pushed me to the Nexus 7. For a 32gb miniature portable tablet Apple is asking for $500. The Nexus 7 is basically hafl the cost ($270) with just a few less features. I really don't see how the new mini iPad is going to sell very well.
I think their aim is to make you buy the iPad Air for just $100 more. And to make their efforts in fitting the Air's specs into the Mini's body worthwhile. I don't know why they're discouraging the smaller tablet size with that price.
I know I'm interrupting the nexus 5 circle jerk, but I have a question regarding the nexus 4. I bought one for my mom about a month ago (when they dropped to $199). She's been having a problem with people complaining about her voice being muffled during phone calls. I tested it out, and it's definitely noticeable. The voice quality sounds inappropriately boosted/deep that it is difficult to understand. The problem seems to improve when speaker phone is on, which tell me this is has to do with the noise cancelling 2nd microphone (which is disabled when the phone is on speaker mode). Has anyone been experiencing this problem? I know I can deactivate noise cancellation after rooting, but frankly I don't want to root my mom's phone as she has no use for root. Any insight is welcome.
Got the black 32gb. Can't wait! Funny that the bumpers aren't available yet. Looking for full accessory heaven.
Is this about twice the size of an Iphone? It looks massive in the picture on the Google Play website.
I haven't, but I would try getting it replaced if that isn't too much of a hassle. Google is pretty good about replacing the Nexus 4 as long as your warranty is intact. I'm guessing it's probably a hardware issue. The Dimensions for the iPhone 5S are: 123.8 mm x 58.6 mm x 7.6 mm The Dimensions for the Nexus 5 are: 138 mm x 69 mm x 8.6 mm
I hate the fact that shipping is $12 for a case even though it is 2 day shipping. I'm going to wait till people review these cases, but I just can't justify spending $50 on that. They should allow you to buy the case with the phone so you don't have to pay double for shipping. Waiting to see if the Wireless Charger is announced at reasonable price, I'd really like to get it if it is. I had the Nexus 4 wireless charger, didn't really like the way it was sticky. Magnetic charging pad seems much better.
