I was hoping a new season would mean a new, less "sticky" Harden. I was wrong. I know I'm in the minority here (maybe just me), but I really do think the Rockets are better with Bev in there as SG over Harden. We should be destroying teams (like we did last year during certain spurts when there was ball movement and unselfishness). Maybe another serious team dinner is in order. I do think it'll be better though (and get back to being bad here and there including the playoffs). Harden always acts like this during big games.

This can turn ugly quickly if:
    - D-Mo is not up for it because Dwight / Casspi cannot guard Dirk and the guy is still very, very good.
    - Harden and maybe Beverley will be still somewhat injured

But I'm staying positive though it will be a nail-biter: Rockets win 101-99

Harden (back, wrist), Beverley (bruised ribs) did not practice. Both day to day. - CSN

Monta Ellis owns us. Just loves seeing Rockets red.

Agree with earlier posts re: Dirk. Hate to say it, but his preseason ejection was a little bit of a gift.

I think that's how they game planned it. Let the career 32% three point shooter try to beat you instead of letting Al work it in the post or Kemba dribble penetrate.

Against Dallas, I'm sure you'll see Dwight play a lot tighter to Dirk and rely on Asik to be the sole rim protector.

If McHale even thinks about starting the twin towers in this game then the man should be fired. When the Bobcats afterthought of a power forward can light it up from 3's against the two towers, it shouldn't even be a question about what DIRK would do. Rockets best chance is to put Parsons on that man.

Let's go back to the lineup that won us a ton of games last year. Of course Howard instaed of Asik but why play around with a winning formula?

OK, now I can certainly see how you're promoting your home boy by smearing other team members... You sound like you have a real agenda there... Fine with me. Just don't hide it. (Don't worry. I won't call you a DOF...)

Personally, I'd like to see Parsons, Casspi and DMo work on Dirk in turns.
(I don't recall who did better in guarding him in preseason)
Anyway, it's less of a job for the TT pair, that's for sure.

    Zach HarperVerified account ‏@talkhoops

Rockets went with a lot of quick stint lineups. Lin-Harden-Cisco-Parsons-Dwight was murder. 182.2 points per 100 on offense. 91.1% TS. WUT

    Zach Harper ‏@talkhoops 4h

Granted, that lineup existed for six minutes. But that's six minutes of nova.

    Joey ‏@JoeKnows23 4h

@talkhoops their beat guy said he thinks theyre going to finish with that lineup often

    Zach Harper ‏@talkhoops 4h

    @JoeKnows23 I would. It's absurd.

Since they all sucked, that's the only position I would experiment with.
