We could rely on your shoddy memory or, you know, do a search and blow your entire post to smithereens - up to you, but if I may? cardpire is back and he's dredging up hurt feelings about PeePee - let's focus our attention there, shall we?

(Apology understood, btw - don't worry about it. Friends?)

First of all, that hurts. Let's stay classy.

Second of all, if you're going to lob insults, back 'em up. What's delusional? The Texans were 13-5 last year; the Broncos 13-4. Neither team made it out of the second round of the playoffs.......

Err, nothing that you just posted really convinces me otherwise. (1 or 2 posts relative to the several hundred you've made on the 2010 Kubiak decision is not exactly a great sample size, btw)

I did my own search before posting, and that's the majority sentiment from you that I found. You wanted Kubiak back with a new DC, first and foremost. You may have been open to a regime change (barely), but you certainly were not vocal about it at all relative to the idea of bringing Kubiak back with a new coordinator.

But anyway, there's no reason to argue or be defensive about it, as it's completely beside the point, and a strategy I ended up agreeing with anyway. And as for cardpire, I've had him on ignore for a year now. I suggest you do the same. Makes the forum far more readable.

Dude, you and your reprehensible buddy and anybody else in that thread look like absolute morons now. There is no debating that. You have as much egg on your face as one could possibly have. Anybody who wants to can go back through the thread and see for themselves.

Aside from the Ravens comment (which you are only bringing up because I myself brought to light a few weeks ago), every single thing I said was correct. I coincidentally was very wrong about the Ravens (thank god it didn't cost me 5k, which i happily would have bet and honored). See, look how easy it is to admit being wrong!!!

Just because you tell people you were, in some bizarre universe, right about anything you said in that thread, doesn't make it so, kiddo.

If I had time to copy and paste every single "egg on your face"-worthy post that you made in that thread, I would, but, then again, I don't have to, because it's almost every single post you made in that thread.

You are angry and grasping at straws. Me and every other rational person can see through that. That's for you to sort out.

"Hey, all these people said you were wrong 1.5 years ago, so, it doesn't matter what actually happened...we say you were wrong, so you were!!"

    Have at it fellas. http://bbs.clutchfans.net/showthread.php?t=215304

It's pure comedy, and more "pwning", as any thread in the history of the internet.

Do you just count on people not clicking on the links that you post? Because the one that you linked says "all i've said was that i think a healthy enough peyton manning gives us a better chance of winning the super bowl than a healthy enough matt schaub."

Where does that say "guarantee"? A healthy enough manning gives us a better chance of winning the super bowl than a healthy enough matt schaub". Call me crazy, but I...still think that??

    Is there something I'm missing?

Damn man, my broken heart is really heartbroken about that. Your responding to my responses makes posting to the forum far more postable.

Ah well, I reap what i sew up on my sewing machine.

I think you hurt his feelings.

Re: Kubiak - I don't post with a lot of vitriol or emotion, nor do I whine and gripe about things I can't change the outcome to. And, frankly, I try not to make it a habit of calling for jobs - it's a little barbaric (IMO). I thought Kubiak should have been fired in 2010 - I wasn't loud and obnoxious about it, but there are far more than just the three posts I linked to. Feel free to link to others. Once it became obvious McNair disagreed with me, and that Kubiak was coming back, I changed course and jumped on the "hire a top-flight DC" bandwagon (which I was on by myself for quite awhile, BTW).

For the record, assuming no playoffs in 2013, I think he should be fired this year, too. If McNair announces he'll be back; I'll start championing feasible solutions.

Yup, a rookie head coach brought his team on the Texan's home field and the Texans made his rookie quarterback (MARK FREAKIN' SANCHEZ) look like Joe Montana. I believe the previous year, the Texans opened against the Steelers, and looked like a high school team completely unprepared for the game. That's the theme with Kubiak.

(Psst… He has you on ignore so, you know… he’s not going to see your message, Mensa.)

Tell ya what, if almost every single post of mine is wrong – all of which, more or less, revolved around the idea that the 2012 Texans weren’t an appreciably better team with Peyton Manning (an idea that was 1,000% vindicated when the Texans and Manning’s new team finished with the same # of wins and were both eliminated on the same postseason weekend – oh, and btw, includes Manning *losing* to the Texans in Denver), how much time does it take to randomly pick 2 or 3 to definitely prove how off the reservation I was? Seriously. Throw a dart and let’s see ‘em. Come on – I’m challenging you to do it. Don’t post the thread and ask people to draw their own conclusions (because, frankly, that's not going to work out for you) – point us in the right direction. Let’s see all these wrong posts of mine.

Again, the guy who’s still obviously seething about an 18-month old thread in which the vast majority of posters turned on him is calling *me* angry and irrational…? OK.

Again, I’m challenging you to throw all my wrong posts out here for the world to see. Your move, cardpire…

Not a Texans fan (sorry), but am a UofH fan, so I watched the last game to watch Keenum. I was super impressed. He wasn't perfect for sure, but he showed confidence and smarts a lot of young players in his position don't. Glad they are starting him again. Not much to lose at this point anyway
