That's based off a lot of assumptions. But, perhaps I worded it wrong regarding why it is an issue... it works against the lesser centers, but not against the Gasols and the Duncans of the world which is really all we care about since we got Dwight for a championship, not to beat up on sub .500 teams. Still I think we have two top 10 players without giving up one of the best benches. We will win a 'ship by 2015.
Well, watching the game last night, I only recall seeing him attempt this move once - and of course it was swatted away. So hopefully that means it was just something he was working on in preseason. Maybe as the year rolls along, he will be able to refine this to the point where he can at least get the shot off.. Seriously though.. he can have that thing swatted away once per game and I won't care - 26 boards.. I think he gets a pass for that one move not working yet
At least twice. The first one was his first play and he spun his way out of bounds. The second one was at the start of the second half where he spun his way out of bounds again. I wish he attempted the backboard shot or at least turned around and faked/created space. It would've made his post up game better.
