In a average week I'd say I get around 4 hours on days I work, on my days off I'll get around 8-9 hours. How about you?
Me too! I don't understand how people can function on less than 6. I'm just not myself with that little sleep. I guess if you've been doing it for a long time you might not even remember what "normal" feels like.
Yeah its bad on days I work.... Im usually pretty grouchy, my temper is short with my 3 year old who I want during the day, Im so sleepy I dont even want to eat. Ill just drink 2 cups of coffee throughout the day until around 5:30 then sleep until 8:30 then off to work.
I try to get 8 as much as possible. Obviously on nights where there is something on TV I want to watch I will get less. So I average between 6-1/2 to 8-1/2 a night. I find it hard to sleep in on the weekends though even if I want to.
I get 4-6 hours of sleep on a good night during workdays (6 days a week). 6-8 hours of sleep on my day off. I've had issues waking up to my alarms though. My body is NOT ready. I need to set up like 30 alarms.
You get used to it. I used to sleep 8-10 hours a night and sometimes would longer on a weekend. The last 4-5 years I am lucky if I get 4-5 hours a night and sometimes I will literally get 2-3 hours. It has been so long that even when I can sleep longer than 4 hours, my body just wakes up and I cannot go back to sleep.
This may sound strange but I function on 3-4 a night. It's kinda due to clutchfans and America being 20 hours behind me (basically just switch am to pm), because I like to keep up to date on all things nba, nfl.. So thanks a lot clutchfans for ruining my sleep
6 to 6.5 hours, maybe a little longer on the weekends. I can do with less without a problem but have made a concerted effort the last 3-4 months to get more sleep.
At 4 hours I wouldn't be able to do what I do for a living. I couldn't talk to anyone, there would be no attention to detail, everything I did would be sloppy.
On weekdays I usually get 5.5-6 hours of sleep. On weekends it's about 7 or 8. I would like to sleep more, but I can't.
I try to get at least 6 hours a night. 11 to 5 during the week. 2 to 8 on weekends, depending on when I get home from gigs. I'd LOVE to sleep later on weekends, especially after long gigs, but that's impossible with 2-year olds.
