Well we have our moronic post of the day here. Harden was injured near the beginning of the game. He even went to the locker room. As for the 4th quarter, Harden and Howard were the reason we pulled away. Harden took 5 shots in the 4th and made all 5.
He will be fine as long as it doesn't linger. We forget he played a ton of ball in the off season and the Asian tour......he needs to rest.
In every thread you have something negative against Harden... We get it, you don't like Harden... T_Man
You mean I have a reputation already??? You know me?! No, I don't like it one bit when Harden thinks he has to take the whole of the offense upon himself, especially when we're up by a dozen and he has lower back pains. It's not good for him; it's not good for the team. I remember a few years ago when Lowry "pushed it" in much the same manner then ended up getting injured. Had he not gotten injured the Rockets would have made the playoffs! When Lin is in the game Harden should not have to initiate every single play. Also when Harden goes to the bucket he should consider, that, as the defense converges, there are oftentimes three very wide-open three point shooters just waiting to be passed the ball. I'm not the only one who viewed the pattern of tonight's offense as problematic. Parsons in his postgame interview described the offense as "selfish". Dwight said that guys weren't trusting one another. McHale said the offense was like a "trip to the dentist," that the ball was "sticky" with "no ball movement". Now, if you're a clutchfans person even at all, you'll know that 9 times out of 10 when a person uses the words "sticky" and "no ball movment" in the context of our offense, this is in reference to Harden ISOs.
I'm a little worried about Harden's back... I hope the Rockets are not reluctant to sit him out as a precaution for a few games until he feels 100% healthy if need be. Don't need no more of that T-Mac out half the year $#!+.
I agree. He will over use his body if he continues to play this way. The body needs rest. His movements in the last quarter indicated he was in pain. Mchale has to distribute the load better.
Don't even quote that Clutchfans BS to me... You are the last person to say they are a clutchfan... All of your post are "what about Lin and hating Harden"... Your a fan, but not of the rockets... I have no prob with you being a fan of an individual, but you downing the other players on the team is just ridicules... This is just a couple of your posts and you posted these after a win... Hate to see what you will post if we lose. Like another poster said in another thread, it's Lin fans like yourself that make it hard to pull for Lin.. Real good guy, hard worker; but some of his fans make it difficult to pull for him. T_Man
SHUT UP! FOR GOD'S SAKE SHUT UP!!! Starting Beverley did NOT cause Harden's back injury, and starting Lin will NOT help Harden stay healthy. STOP IT.
nop, as long as today's crappy offense in the first Q keep happening, people wont stop talking about it. it's not about bev or lin starting, change them to other person such as bev to bevever and lin to linyone still the same issue here, Harden shouldn't try too much, there are 4 teammates on the court and they can do their job, and this team need to keep the ball moving to get good offense.
You misunderstand. I am complaining about another LOF trying to turn a thread about Harden's back (a legit topic) into another Lin thread. I am sick of that BS. And it is BS.
No matter who he is, he is posting his views on the team, on the players, and on the manager. And you, sir, you are on the other fans. I wish fans not fight with each other. Clutch is so considerate to provide us with the tool to IGNORE someone. If you do not like to hear his views, just put him on your ignore list. All will be fine. It is good for you, and good for this board as well. Thank you.
I shouldn't have to put a thousand LOFs on ignore. They are freaking killing these boards trying to turn every discussion into a Lin discussion. Enough already.
Rox23, its O.K. Your strong opinion is appreciated. We don't want people to agree. As long as your thinking makes sense, and it does, its welcome by many. I get what your saying and I agree that the offense should go through Lin a little more often to give a different look and so that he doesn't get in iso Harden mode. The whole iso mode for Harden became a big joke last year because its based on reality. Thank you and cheers!
