Love Harden, so don't mistake constructive criticism with hate, but this is the same trap with Kobe's game. He shoots his team out of rhythm then scores a bunch and people think he won the game for them. Uh~ no. Harden should not fall into that trap and learn to pass the ball all game long ala Lebron. All we do when we say how he great he was today for "saving" us is making him repeat the same mistakes as he was uber turnover prone and sticky today. Still, he handled his business when he counted as he is a superstar but I do not want to see him continue down this path.

It wasn't Harden magic that saved us, it was Francisco shooting out of his mind. Harden didn't do well until the 4th, at which point the rockets had already gotten a handle on what they wanted to do on offense.

Why didn't Morey sign Josh McRoberts who is the PF in Bobcats?
I think McRoberts is the Pf we need

the term "Kobe trap" is right on. once I heard harden said he wanna be the next kobe thing in an interview, I began to worrie. kobe way is not the good way to play and watched harden's game last season he is no kobe. boy got max contract but still have a long way to go, just like young Jordan, I still remember that game Phil Jackson called a time out and take on him keep asking:"who is point guard, Michael? who is point guard?" we need a coach who can really coach him, yet we have mchale instead.

I loved the TT.. I was just waiting for mcroberts to miss a shot, but the dude was en fuego. Lin played great, hopefully he can shoot the 3 at a higher %. Garcia's shot was wet. If we play this brand of defense all year we will win 55+

Harden is 24 years old. Both Kobe AND Jordan were labeled ball hogs in their careers before they won titles. Relax. Harden is learning to be an elite scorer that makes his teammates better. It doesn't just happen overnight, it takes time even for the greatest of the great. I can remember the Bulls being the Jordanaires, how Jordan was a ball hog, would never win a title, blah blah blah. Harden can lead this team to titles but he's 24 years old and he needs time to learn what makes someone a superstar with rings on his fingers.

Yeah, MKG was really taking it to Parsons. And he didn't do a good job boxing out MKG on the boards. MKG isn't that great.

All true. They were saying all those things about the young Jordan... then he won six NBA titles.

Just came back from China to see the game from second quarter. I would not be so hard on this game. The Cats are not a bad team at all. Howard showed that he is great player. So fast in the paint. Such a good rebounder. Towards the end also Harden came back. All the rest played well although a bit sluggish in the offense. Garcia was hot as he is most of the time. Don't worry, the rest will be as well when they get used to the rotations. Lin shot the ball well, but needs to initiate more fast breaks. Casspi played well although his 3pt shots were not falling. He kept McRoberts at bay and energized the defense.

All in all, it was never a question who's going to win the game.

this wasn't the average sucky charlotte team since they added some good pieces over the summer we were used to and i think everyone thought they were going to be pushovers. also it's always about matchups and some teams are going to not match up that great against the rockets.
i'm glad we won at home and for a change was able to relax and watch the game with the feeling throughout that we weren't going to lose, unlike last year.

also the game wouldn't have been no where near as close if they didn't have mcroberts, if he plays like that thorughout the year they are going to be a tough team.

Too many Turnovers, jittery legs and bad shooting night

We should improve against the Mavs
Lol @ Ellis scoring 32 and 8 in his first game

thats the good thing about it all, u can have a bad shooting night but those bread and butter rebounds can still bail you out

Although this did came against the Bobcats, allowing 83 points is still utterly ridiculously good. The Bobcats averaged 93ppg last season on average pace.

Whatever else may trouble the Rockets, defense will not be one of them.

Sure - if he hits 3's at 75% - or even half that, he is. 28% like he did last year isn't gonna do it.
