You could always choose to not reply if I am "bugging you", but that option would seem too logical, so I guess you take the next smartest move by being an attention w**** and announcing to the world how much you are being bugged.

You are right there is no point continuing the discussion when you aren't even providing an thing to back your points up besides "check out my obscure and hard to understand language which I will blame you for if you misinterpret".

I'm the kind of obsessive poster who never put anyone on ignore and almost always respond to every single post directed to me.

Attention w****???!!! What??!! I'm asking YOU to stop it, it has nothing to do with anyone else. I thought messaging would be even less polite.

I'm really liking Lin in this 6th man role. lots and lots of positives.
    1. free reign on offense most of the time he is in.
    2. We get to set the tone on defense really early.
    3. he gets blamed less for teams performance. LOL

Few things that needs to be worked on:
    1. starting 5 offense.
    2. starting 5 pace.
    3. starting 5 defensive intensity. I think we should always start the game with a suffocating defense. this will really help us with the whole tempo of the game.

There is no 6th man role for Jeremy Lin

There is no 6th man role for Jeremy Lin

    1.
McHale has never said that 6th man thing. He put Lin to the bench only.
    (and doesn't explain the reason)

    2.
Last season, Delfino is the 6th man because of his fire power from the 3. In this respect, Francisco Garcia and Omri Casspi are better candidates to fill his role.

    3.
Lin played avg. 32mins last year.
In the first regular game, Lin and Garcia played 30:56 and 30:03.
    Garcia was in hot-handed.
Beverley's injury is the reason Lin gets more minutes.

    4.
Last year summer, NY medias tried to use the "Mentor" to sell how great Lin comes off the bench (& take less $$$) and learns from Nash (change to Kidd later). The "6th man" is the same trick.

    Whoa.

I guess the point kastuul is trying to make is that Lin should start, right? Or did I miss something.

I'll be interesting to see who starts in the Mavs game anyhow. Bev will probably start; though maybe not Asik. Hmmm. Or maybe McHale will "rotate" point guards like he did in preseason.

As I said previously, I'm beginning to suspect that it's Harden who wants the ball so much. That's why McHale can't give any reason.

I sincerely hope it's not the case. But even when Lin was in the game, Harden kept insisting on playing PG. Maybe he just really really likes playing PG and he has star power. Again, I'm not saying anything is happening, just possible and I hope nothing of this sort is there.

A 6th man is only someone that could shoot 3s?

Oh ffs. This is so bad. This is worse than George Clooney's Batman. This is worse than GI Joe the movie. This is worse than the White Power Ranger.

Lin could be the 7th man for all care. Rockets win holding opp to under 90 dominating the boards. Howard and Harden are the alpha dogs everybody else "know your role".

    Harden ISO.
    Howard ISO
    Harden ISO
    Harden ISO
    Harden-Howard PnR
Harden failed penetration, kicks out, Garcia THREE
    Harden ISO
    Harden-Parsons alley-oop
    Harden ISO
    Howard ISO
    Howard-Howard alley-oop
    Howard ISO
    Harden ISO

...akin to the offense of last night's game (even with Lin in there). In his postgame interview McHale described the offense as being like a "trip to the dentist," as having sticky ball syndrome, with no movement. Parson's described the offense as "selfish". Dwight said that players weren't trusting their teammates.

Just because you have superstars doesn't however mean they have to do EVERYTHING...

My conclusion from this post: If McHale has to 'bench' Lin, at least give him the 6th man title.

Seriously, we Houston fans like Lin as much as the next back-up PG (which is a LOT, we love our backup PG's here in Houston), but if the cost of winning a championship is to lose the Lin bandwagoners, then Godspeed you merry lot.

THE ROCKETS KICKED ASS YESTERDAY! And we can do so much better still. I love this team's growth potential going forward. We're gonna take names, all the while building chemistry and figuring ourselves out for the long haul.

30mpg is not a bad thing either. 30mpg is a good thing. I hope Dwight can get 30mpg in the last month of the regular season, resting up for the playoffs. Everyone complaining about the lack of PT for their pet player will have a time this year where they shut up because injuries will open up more than enough minutes for everyone. We just have to get everyone healthy by the end, no questions asked.

This team is like one in five this year with a realistic shot to win it all. The talent is there. Popovich is gonna go on camera with his pissy face and reply when they ask him why they lost to us: "They simply have more talent." And he'll be right. He'll coach McHale's pants off. And he will still lose. Because oldie baldy Spurs tricks are done. It's an even year. They're done. We go at least to the WCF this year barring injuries.

You can enjoy this, or you can gripe. Take it or leave it Lin fans.

did you even watch the game?

Harden had 5 assists followed by Parsons with 3. 5 players had double digit points and 4 players had at least 16 pts.

and all you saw was Harden/Howard-ISO?

and yeah superstars WILL cause majority of the wins in ANY nba team. look it up

and why have a successful penetration only to kick out the ball to one of the 3 pt shooter?

Well damn. Technically, Lin came in the game at the 6:01 mark. Before Garcia. He was the first one off the bench. So McHale shouldn't have to say "6th man". This is why the term LOF was coined. Dude played 30 minutes and scored 16 points. And we won the game. What else do you want?
    1. I know you'd be happy with Lin getting 30 shots per game and being featured in our offense, but he's not our best scorer. So that doesn't give the team the best chance to win.
    2. I know you want to see Linsanity 2.0, and that would be awesome. But the majority of us would be happy just winning games.
    3. Exhale and let it go.
