Well Bev is on the scouting report now so hopefully all this holds true when teams get film on him

I don't know if this is true. JR was the 6th man and he didn't always finish games. Even harden in OKC I don't think he finished every single game.

Lin comes off the bench and scores a very efficient 16 points on just 7 shots, and people want him to start? How about not fixing what isn't broken.

We often say that if it aren't broken don't fix it. You have a proven starter from last season, why not stick with it, especially the one who can run fast and pace offense? Not a smart move by the coach. This is from a long-time rockets fan...

He played as a starter tonight cuz Bev was injured. If you meant what you said, then do you agree that we should have Lin finish games and start??

Why are you putting up playoff stats?

Discounting the season where Ginobili only played 34 games, in Ginobili's sixth man season he had career highs in points, rebounds, 3 point%, win shares, TS%.

The Spurs not winning more than one championship in no way discounts the fact that Ginobili has been most effective when he came off the bench.

Starting Beverly like starting Nate Robinson.
It won't work for long term.

I love the fact that Lin is confident while he plays...He truly can have a Ginobli like impact for this team, as Beverley plays like Bruce Bowen.

3 fast break points... Run & gun is our bread and butter, I have nothing against Lin being 6th man if he gets 30min, but mchale is a joke saying ball didn't move at the beginning aid the game, I mean What do you expect when your offense is ran through a SG ????

in a way, mchale is being stubborn. He might be an ex celtic but he is not stupid. He very well knows why the ball and the offense gets 'sticky' but refuses to, like calvin murphy says, let the pg play the pg.

Harden is mature enough to pick his spots and could easily score 30 without needing to massage the ball like he is trying to give it a happy ending.
yet the coaches are still facilitating the anti democratic basketball comments from last season.

The ball should be moving side to side, into the post then out.
we're at our best moving the ball that's been proven. nothing 'fluid' about that just a fact.

Beverley's defensive play is no where near Bowen's level.

Where was this mindset when the PG played well & stayed health for 82 games & then gets replaced next season.

    Yeah right, playoffs don't matter?
You mean seasons? Or the 08 season? He had better stats but it didn't make much difference in the playoffs and they lost.
I think it's somewhat subjective. He did pretty well when they won the championship in 05 as a starter and he played very well when he was the leader of the Argentinian team.

Howard will sort him out. On the otherhand, Jeremy is running havoc as the 6th Man. I can't wait for ESPN to eat their hat at the end of the year proclaiming Linsanity reborn.

Who cares you LOF? That's the whole point of a 6th Man? You think Sefolosha had a bigger role than Harden?

    Stop being so bloody bitter.

All of us are getting paid to do our jobs. But getting paid doesn't mean we don't need to be treated correctly. Lin handles the situation professionally and he actually accepts his role without making any fuss.

His fans are not Jeremy Lin. They do not necessarily need to embrace the situation like Lin does. Just too bad GARM has to bear with the unceasing complaints but this is part of the Lin's package :(

OMG the effing rage right now.

Make a DAMN DECISION AND STICK WITH IT!!!!!!!!!!!

It was the first frigging REAL game and the NEW PG that you put in had only played 10 minutes with the new PF and the offensively challenged Center.

Stop flip flopping on the PG position...you already effed this up once a couple years ago. Learn from your frigging mistake. You decided to start Beverly, give him a chance before pulling the rug from him :mad::mad::mad:
