The Sixers are tanking sooo hard they actually had me thinking if R.White was cut because he was too good a player for the team. Coach Brown did say the team only has 5 legit NBA-level players.

I've always wondered how tanking teams are coached. Are the coaches just hands off, or do they actively encourage them to play poorly, orchestrate bad matchups, etc.? Anybody know?

Depends if you have a future foundation piece.

This year? it'll be a lot of experimentation to see who they can carry forward.

If you do it like OKC, after a year of that, they handed the team to Durant (look at his first year efficiency, lol) and let him learn on the fly, mistakes and all, and after a cpl more top 4 picks they flew up the ratings, i think this is what philly hope to do, if they get Wiggins, expect a similar outcome.

Charlotte are so mismanaged, I don't think they'd even know how to tank...

...& if they did get the number 1 pick, MJ would probably pass on Wiggins & take some young center with big potential & upside.

Anyone named Kwame in this upcoming draft?

Just out of curiosity, what would be in it for those teams? I know when we did it, it was because our pick had a playoff condition. But, to go from pick 15 to 14 or to make the playoffs, you take playoffs.

Lol, so Philly and Phoenix didn't quite work out.

Things will balance out once the season gets going, but as of now, the prophet has spoken and he is telling us we have a frontrunner and a darkhorse.

    The frontrunner's are...

The LA Lakers. Absolutely terrible team with no chance of doing anything, even with a healthy Kobe. Toughest part of their season is getting him to sit out for most of it, which could be the difference between a top 5 pick and something less shiny.

    The darkhorses...

Boston. 2 storied franchise's on their last legs. Neither capable of pulling off skinny jeans.

Nothing for the fans to look forward to, except a little black magic.

I don't think the Bobcats will be as bad as some think. They have some talent, a few moves and they might even push for the 8th spot. The east is really made up of 5 teams, the bottom 3 spots can go to anyone.

    Imagine 76ers to draft Embiid.

    MCW
    Turner
    Thad.Young
    Noel
    Embiid

Sick starting five with so much future...
