but that's why bev is there in the first place, to not be in harden's way. then the head coach will wonder why we got 'sticky' just like he wondered why we would get out rebounded by other teams when we sat our Centers in the fourth and played luifa at the 5. =/

The suns seem to be doing a nice job putting two guards that need the ball at the same time. It might also help that they don't have a bench or a sf, or a pf or a center.

Cause they speak the truth sometimes?? If the roles were reversed people would say the same thing about Bev. You're just too sensitive.

Dwight has 20+ rebounds in H-town debut.

80% of posts are about Lin.

What do you mean if the roles were reversed? Do you see a hundred Beverley threads? What kind of hypothetical are you imagining? The are only psycho lemming fans for one player on the team.

Bev's not there to run the show, he's there to play D and he failed miserably. Not hating, that's just the facts. Walker took advantage of his "tenacious" on the ball defense.

Heh?? We saw what happened last year when Walker torched Lin....posters here went off on him. I dont see nearly as much Bev bashing as I did Lin bashing.

Bev basically had the same injury Lin did last year in the playoffs. Lin was ridiculed for that rib injury, i dont see anyone here questioning whether Bev could really play do I?

People are overeacting. Bev did fine, or not much at all since Harden and Parsons iso'd a lot in the beginning. He didn't even play that many minutes to truly judge his effectiveness.

Lin did great on the other hand, knocked down threes, drove the lanes an didn't force anything.

This whole starting benching thing is getting overblown, I don't see the semantics of starters vs non starter actually affect the team's performance as both Lin and Bev will get heavy minutes depending on matchups.

Harden is our best playmaker. Lin is coming off the bench because hes the second best playmaker and can find his offense on a bench that can't get it themselves.

Watch some of those blow out wins against playoff teams like the Bulls (Christmas Day massacre), twice against the Knicks, Lakers, Warriors, Jazz, Memphis etc. and you know the major difference. Not too many ISOs but lots of ball movements and fast paced up tempo attacks. You need a pg who can drive the ball up fast and is willing to pass first to do that. Too bad now he is at the bench. LOL.

All I see is about 100,000 posts about Lin, Lin's feelings, Lin's perceived opponents on the same team/coaching staff. You remember one day last year about Bev huh? The LOF experience is 24/7/365 emo race-baiting self-pity. You remember a day last year. . . . Very convincing.

I don't understand why people won't use the f***king ignore function instead of crying about how many Lin posts there are. It takes more time to whine and complain than to put people on your ignore list.

I agree, the Bev bashing should stop right here!!! Ridiculous.

I do think, however, that the reason these idiots are bashing Bev is because if the roles were reversed and Lin was Bev today and Bev-Lin, I'd bet dollars to donuts that a GRIP of people who pretend to be neutral fan, lol, would've talked about how this game PROVES Bev is better than Lin as he hit his open 3s and impacted the game. I'm like a 1,000,000% sure of it as it happens over and over again.

Still, all you lowlifes knocking Bev need to cut that out. Bev is just playing hard and it's McHale that is making the decisions on playing time. Bev is great for our team, stop hating. It's like a kid who gets bullied unfairly, then turns around and bullies another kid unfairly. Ridiculous

Bev played not bad from what I saw. It wasn't his fault that the offense didn't get going, no one was making their shots. It was nice to see Lin do well with the starters and pretty much continue where he left off from last year. Both could do the same role really. Lin slashes, Bev as the better defender. Depends on what is needed.

Fun game to watch in the end. Nice win.
