If one more dude (Casspi,Parsons, maybe Bev if didn't get hurt) in addition to Garcia would have knocked a couple of jumpers this game would have been much easier. First game jitters, Harden with a stiff back, no one other than Garcia sharp from outside... Pretty sure things would look much better moving forward.

You're making us Lin fans look bad... or is that your intention? wait a minute.

Anyways, Harden played excellent in the 4th tonight. His overall game was ok, started terrible, but ended very well. Also, tonight, Lin wasn't the point guard, Harden was.

Harden didn't play well; Dwight's D kept Rockets in game. Too many TOs. He has to pass a little bit more.

Maybe because he has not been practicing with the first unit.

Except Casspi and Ă–mer only love beef ribs and maybe mutton ribs.

Howard did not move like this last season. He's like a pogo stick who is also almost 7 foot. Tough to stop on both ends.

Harden is almost always the PG, which leads to a lot of TOs. I give a B-1 or C+ for Harden.

Keeping Lin on the bench means he wasn't on the long term plan.

Darn. I think they just won a game of Derby, firing away with 5 bench buys in full 4th quarter. They could learn to be grateful.

It will soon be apparent that this is Dwight's team.

Which was really weird because I remember a game last year where Kemba killed Lin over and over. I didnt get to watch the game (only followed play-by-plays because of my ******* paper due tomorrow) but did Lin improve his lateral quickness?

Also to those hating on Harden, despite his sucky play during the first 3 quarters, he still put the Cats away with his shooting and play making in the 4th. I think he was 5/5 during the 4th. :\

I'll take the win. Howard had a SPECTACULAR game. I was really impressed. Lin played well off the bench.

I am extremely worried about Harden. I hope back issues don't become chronic like they did with Tmac. That just ended his career.

Instead of experimenting with line-ups, I wish McHale would experiment with some solid offensive-sets rather than ISOs. Against other well coached defensive and talented teams, that style of offensive(ISO-laden) won't bode very well for us IMO.

and also cause he wasn't the pg tonight, he was mostly catch and shoot or catch and drive.

Nice way to start the season off. Dominant game by Howard on the boards and a nice balance attack on offense.

Garcia was a huge savior. He's the one playing the Delfino role. The first one in the first half to put some spark into our offense.

    Can't have enough weapons.

Casspi also seems to be the first one in to spell Asik and to defend the stretch 4. He didn't shoot well but he made some good drives to the basket.

DMo and TJones will have to continue to practice.

Very nice. Solid opening. Off to the Laker boards for the tollz.
