great numbers, but post moves def need a lot more refining. 1st day of a long journey, not bad at all.

 

Lin was the spark that everyone predicted he would he kept this game close and then Howard and Harden took over the 4th + team work from others

 

A win is a win... is a win. Now lets ice up and get our guys healthy for Dallas.

 

I'll take the W, but damn I hope Harden and Bev are OK.

 

Ugly wins build character.

 

If Dwight is MVP our team goes far.

Howard can average 20/15 this season

 

if you read those posts you will see that it is not just LOFs saying that lol everyone is... don't make this a lin vs harden thing it is not... Harden sucked at 1st half and turned it up in the 4th end of story, nothing more nothing less...

Garcia is awesome. Unselfish, wonderful shot, and great teammate.

 

I’m worried about defense of the opposing 4 spot. Howard isn’t going to slide out that far, so this may be a constant problem against teams with 4s that shoot well from the 3 line. Too many iso plays, but I still like how they won tonight. More of a playoff style win, with one on one play due to how the other team was defending them.

These types of games seemed to cause them problems last year because it would plug up Harden’s drives. It’s a good move to have Lin also as a backup 2 for this purpose. But, the difference from last year was obvious… Superman. Wow.

I thought Lin held up great down the stretch, played good D against Walker, looked fine next to the starters and helped them win, even as ugly as this opening game was.

So glad Garcia is back with the team; I hope Bev heals up quick.

 

Did Howard really get 26 rebounds??!!! And Asik got 14!! OMG, that is total domination.

 

If Casspi ever recaptures even half of his preseason glory, we are gonna be super tough.

 

I've noticed this mentality around here too. Really annoying.

 

Great game, and I still think Asik and Howard don't work, didn't tonight either...lots of rebounds, and they were still losing after the first quarter.

They pulled away once they went to just one of them.

I know they like Asik as a backup, but the lack of offense will hurt them against good teams.

Great to see Harden come back. Hope Bev and he will be healthy for the next game.

 

Slow start but nice to see the win at the end of it all. Gotta give credit to Charlotte, their defense was on point and they were making the team play at their pace.
