Jake's Philly Steaks and Rockets Games and Specials Rocket Game Specials: $ 6.25 Wings $ 4.50 Domestic Smitchers $ 0.50 Off all Imports
Dang now I need to stop by again! Went a few times during the summer and was very impressed. I'll need to catch a game there soon.
Jake's Philly Steaks and Rockets Games Ready for the Clutch Fans Tonight!!!! Drink Specials, HDTV's and Jake's Patio will have the game broadcast on our 80" projection wall so you can sit comfortably, outside, covered, drink, eat, and smoke em if you have em. Thanks, Jake's.
Anyone who watches at Jakes: How crowded is it? I'd like to watch the game tonight somewhere, potentially with someone who is pregnant. Not really interested in going to a jam packed bar type environment. Any thoughts? Right now I'm leaning towards Barry's Pizza.
Jake's Philly Steaks and Rockets Games We have a comfortable environment, you can sit at a table, sit at the bar, or sit outside on the patio. We'll have opposing walls with the game on in the main room so you can even sit at one end in a booth. We're still wiring a number of new TV's and new bar monitors so in a week or so you can sit in any number of places hidden from a large crowd. Don't know how crowded it will be tonight. Thanks, Jake's.
Jake's Philly Steaks and Rockets Games SPECIAL...SPECIAL...SPECIAL! For our Clutch Fans tonight, just rigged up; RED ROCKET Strong Amber Red Ale, Draft, Sonoma Area, California, 6.4% ABV, $ 3.50 / pint, enjoy! Thanks, Jake's.
Damn, if we werent going to the game, we would be there. Cant wait to see the new and improved set up. Any pictures yet?
Jake, this is your competition, everyone at my office says Papa Genos is the best in the city, you guys should at least try theirs to compare http://www.yelp.com/biz/pappa-genos-houston
I go to Jakes often and i think you would enjoy the place for what you're looking for. The days I've been on weekdays are never really "packed". Very friendly bar. I don't believe Barry's can match their customer service either. Give it a try man.
That's not a sports bar, why would they care? What do you want them to do after they try their sandwich? Close down their restaurant and kill themselves if they think it tastes better?
Dude.....don't go to Barry's Pizza. Support a fellow clutchfan. The guy is begging people to come out and offering CF specials. Go to Jake's. If his place was in Kingwood, I would literally be there for every game.
Ya I'm in clear lake so its tough, but my office is not far from them. Can't make it tonight, but I'm going to try on a Friday.
I want to go to Jakes, I just have to convince a pregnant woman to go so I needed to know if it is more like a restaurant or more like a bar.
Jake's Philly Steaks and Rockets Games It's a little more now than the old Jake's Philly Steaks sandwich shop and improving every day. Menu now has 28 main selections including 6 burger choices, 4 chicken sandwich choices (some say our Buffalo Chicken Sandwich on our White Sweet Sourdough Bun is the best sandwich they have ever tasted), a BLT, and we now have a select NY Strip Steak Sandwich and even Chicken Quesadillas. Along with that there are 30+ options for appetizers, sides, nachos, wings, fresh dressings, Jalapeno Ranch, etc., and if we have it in the kitchen we'll do our best to make it for you. In addition, seating now to 148, three bar counter tops, two separate rooms, patio with 80" projection HDTV's; and we may be the only Sports Bar in Houston that can show three sporting events in three separate locations each with there own sound. Add in 14 new Yamaha speakers, 4 bathrooms, a new Juke box, new dart area, 2014 Golden Tee, Silver Strike Bowling, 80+ Beer and Wine selections, 80+ Alcohol choices including Jr. Johnson's Midnight Moonshine in Apple Pie, Cherry (some say the best drink ever is Cherry Moonshine and Pink Lemonade), Blackberry, Blueberry, Strawberry and clear gasoline, 20+ soft drink choices including Gatorade and Vitamin Flavored Waters.... and you have a little more than the old Jake's. It's a bit different, and it's a lot better than last year's venue, while still serving great, fresh, food in a comfortable setting. We appreciate all of you that have helped us get to this point in our short 14 months of ownership and we look forward to making your game watching experience, your dining, and your drinking (from water to 151 proof) the best there is anywhere; period. Thanks, Jake's.
