Playing it. Reminds me of how much I hated Origin's browser-based system. I'm pretty rusty as I stopped playing Battlefield 3 after 6 months of its release. I feel like I can't hit anything anymore.
The Black Friday Gamestop ad was leaked and it showed BF4 for $30 on Black Friday, $40 on that weekend.
I'm waiting for the PS4 version. Not a PC gamer. Well.. at least not for this game. Real excited though... how is the new knifing system?
What? That was one of the best BFs ever! Why would they give a "real" homage to Vietnam when there was actually a Vietnam standalone to begin with?
I guess. I have a pc powerful enough to play it at max settings at 1080p so I wouldn't for the life of me understand why someone would want to play it on consoles unless they don't have a proper gaming rig. Gamepads with analog sticks are a joke when it comes to first person shooters. You need a keyboard and mouse to play a fps properly.
I'm not a PC gamer either, but BF2 on PC was amazing. I had a really hard time getting into BF3 on PS3. Wish they'd make a follow up to Bad Company 2, that was awesome on PS3.
Aside from Civilization, PC games just never felt right to me. Not sure how to explain it. Even when played through an HDMI on the big screen. I have this, or something close to it - http://www.samsung.com/us/computer/pcs/NP700Z7C-S01US - I imagine it could handle BF4 at some level, even though it's a laptop.
Was going to wait and get it next gen, but the 9.99 upgrade swayed me into picking it up early and I'm glad I did. The maps are phenomenal. I don't want to ruin the surprise for anybody so I'll keep the details to myself, but there is one map in particular when the "levolution" occurred and I literally found myself jumping up from my seat and saying "no way". I also like how they have a place where you can train in the vehicles without having to search for empty servers. That was much needed and a wonderful addition.
Hmm... might be able to play it at medium settings. In that case I would rather play it on a new console(ps4/xbox one). The perfect solution for those who don't want to shell out the big bucks for a dedicated gaming pc is a ps4 with keyboard/mouse support for fps games.
started playing and decided to stop. Until they figure out all the netcode and crashing issues its just not fun
