I already got the $60 promo. And if CSN spans out, awesome. And yeah, BStreams is awesome for mobile. So yeah, I'll have a lot of options if CSN does span out. But I don't just watch the Rockets, I try to watch as many teams/games as I can because I just love the game. Cheapest one will do. What's your internet speed? If you have 12MBPS + you can watch 2-3 HD games at once. You need at least 5MBPS to watch 1 game in HD (which is BallStreams 3200 quality versions) their low quality is (800 kbps) they also have an automatic quality setting, which adjusts based on your speed. Thanks so much man, I appreciate the kind words. I'm just tryin to help everyone with the best setup as possible. Broo btw, I never got your second rep tho! Yes it does! Many people have had success here with it. I don't own one tho.
So the Bulls vs Miami heat game is blacked out... NBA LP has a free 5 day trial and they give us this?! fml currently watching on a patchy free stream
You're complaining in the ballstream thread? Sounds like you should just get ballstreams. I'm watching Miami destroy Chicago right now.
After testing on my MAC, I tried BStreams on my Android using their app and it worked much better. Then I connected my phone to the TV using the MHL adapter and it was perfect HD quality.
It was a thing of beauty to watch all 3 games last night in HD! What a service! They should win some kind of Internet award.
Forgot to mention one thing regarding paying (not sure if already mentioned). You can't use pre-paid VISA/MasterCard. I should of checked before buying one but I didnt. Then when I tried to use it the system kept declining it. Asked the admin and he said that prepaid cards do not work
I tested my MB Pro plugged in directly to my TV (VGA) last night for a few minutes and the HD stream was somewhat laggy/choppy even though I was hard wired in at 18mbps. My guess is that it is my laptop since it is on the older side. I later tried at my GF's apartment using Airplay from my iPhone to her Apple TV on WiFi at 4mbps and it was nearly flawless with just a couple of minor hiccups over about 20 minutes. Going to try VLC player on my laptop tonight. If not, is anyone using Xbox 360? It looks tedious to set it up but maybe I'm not understanding their instructions correctly.
They will. For shutting down NBA LP... lol jk. But yeah man, this service is ridiculous. WE ARE SO SPOILED NOW. Every game, whenever we want to watch..... IN legit quality. Spoiler It's going to be a great season I hope! I know brotha, I pray it doesn't or else we are all screwed! Yeah, sadly its most probably your cpu's specs. If VLC doesn't solve it for ya, try PotPlayer! That worked for my friends laptop that wasn't so specccy. PotPlayer Instructions: Spoiler
I personally don't recommend the 360 method. First try VLC/PotPlayer, if those work, you're set. If not, you can always get a cheap Roku player ( $50 @ walmart.com: http://www.walmart.com/ip/Roku-LT-Streaming-Player/21998221 ) and Roku's instructions are extremely easy too, not as simple as via AirPlay, but very close. Roku Instructions: Spoiler If you can get your hands on a AppleTV and got/afford the $100, I'd go that route if your VLC/Potplayer doesn't do it for ya because of your laptops specs. Also, since you've already tried AppleTV via AirPlay, you already know that route works for ya and you know it's super siple! Hope you get everything up and running buddy!
Yesssss, message the Admin, he'll enable the option for you if it's not already there for you when you pay in your account settings!
I don't recommend it, I recommend AirPlay via AppleTV (if you can chalk up $100) from your iOS device, or simply laptop > HDMI cable > TV or get a Roku device from walmart.com super cheap at $50 ( http://www.walmart.com/ip/Roku-LT-Streaming-Player/21998221 )... but if it's your only choice... then here: 360 Setup: http://www5.ballstreams.com/devices#xbox360
