I rather seem Lin lead the 2nd Unit (if he really gets to lead the 2nd Unit), rather than stand around the corner and handing the ball over to Harden. However, I think he will play around 24 minutes instead of 30 minutes per game.

I believe that Lin is the better player - - in a vacuum - - but that Bev and Lin are better suited for the line-ups of starters and reserves this roster has.

Yes, because we all know Beverely is a lazy bum! :)

So tell me, why exactly did you become a fan of Lin? Besides his race....

Neither are staying. Who wants to play second fiddle when you can be a starter elsewhere?

In which case he'll have to go too after Morey rescues some D-Leaguer who'll be grateful for an NBA contract.

And this - - it is my hope that Lin off the bench will allow a few extra mpg on the bench for Harden. JH13 is not WC13!

I think Lin is going to be gone by next season. The funny thing is Harden and Lin played really well together for the first two games right after Harden joined Rockets. This shows me that Harden could have played well as a more of a SG. I do understand though why Rockets decided to give a free rein to Harden and let him handle the ball. Once Harden joined Rockets, the writing was on the wall for Lin. Whether Lin can up his trade value by playing well coming from the bench remains to be seen.

Hmm, let's see. Asik is starting, Lin is not. What's the difference? Asik b----ed and whined about possibly losing his spot, and lin didn't. Now look at the result. It's as simple as that.

If you don't speak up for yourself, you get shafted. Which is precisely what is and will happen to jeremy over and over again until he learns to defend himself (which he probably never will).

God is teaching him a lesson here, but I don't think jeremy gets it.

Hopefully, he'll get to do his thing as a 6th man. If they have Beverley as the main ballhandler even when Lin is on the court, then the Rockets are truly trying to sabotage Lin's career for whatever bizarre reason.

With his contract and with decreased playing time? Highly unlikely.

It's more likely he'll stay and play in a far more limited role than last season.

Psychotic BOF's and LOH's can rejoice in that fact.

Lin stuck with his NBA dream even though people had been telling him since high school that he couldn't play. You have no idea what you're talking about.

Asik has a lot more leverage than Lin because as a top defensive center, he is arguably the most valuable type of asset in the entire league. Seriously, how many good centers can you name? How many decent PGs? I rest my case.

Furthermore, what good did b****ing and playing hardball get Lowry and Dragic? Lowry is now on one of the most irrelevant teams in the league, and Dragic will soon get dumped because of Bledsoe. They could've stayed and been with one of the most exciting and talented teams in the league, but now they're in NBA Siberia.

Asik is also a better player than Lin and him sharing the front court with Dwight Howard has not been experimented with.

Lin played all last season with Harden.

Yeah and you can legitimately say they were the best backcourt in the NBA

I thought this was the right decision. Lin fit better with the 2nd team and Bev with the 1st. Still a hard shock to take though, and I'm sure that Lin won't be ending games without good reason now.

Shows how much promise their own team has that they have to obsess over a player that left them a while ago now. LOL

Seriously, what is their problem? Lin did absolutely nothing wrong to them. It's times like these when you seriously have to wonder if some people just can't stand to see an Asian guy succeed in ways that they didn't think possible because don't all Asian guys have small dicks and no athleticism? It's as if their little worldviews are turned upside down and they become scared little children.

I think they should have experimented with Harden, Howard, and Lin as well. Why didn't they give it a chance?

They wont be celebrating when Beverely drops 20 on them at MSG.

The crowd will be checking to make sure they still have their wallets at half time.

They were the best backcourt in the nba last season, and both have improved considerably since then.

With beverley starting, harden will be overworked, and beverley will have to change his style of play and pace himself, resulting in a noticeably different level of effort.

Asik is being started so that he doesn't develop into a brooding passive=aggressive malcontent while he's here, and so that he can retain his value for a trade. This is politics, son.
