your answer is reasonable. but it is not a common case in professional sports. by the way, lin already said it in public so it is not mysterious any more.

Yet people continue to whine about it, when Lin said he is fine with it.

    BIZZARE !!!

And this season is set up to be something special, if folks would just sit back and enjoy the ride.

    why?

i just don't understand why he did that. some decisions McHale made are very confused.

i don't have any confidence on McHale to lead us to the title.

You do realize you're saying the Rockets are withholding information against the Bobcats right? The Bobcats who might not even have Al Jefferson?

I will agree with you somewhat there, but players sometimes do it with little coaching....

Lin is a professional. Of course he will say something nice.

McHale cut Lin because he think Lin is scrub. So you think McHale will put his ego in front of team success? Keep dreaming, he will do all in his problem to prove his cut on Lin was right.

Calling Beverly with good defense is no different calling street ball player with good defense. Don't get me wrong, basketball is a close contact sport, it should be rough and aggressive, but in this sissy NBA, his aggressive is the weakness for the team. He will send the other team to the free throw lines until he get bench or foul out.

The LOFs on this board are hilar.

Bev starting makes our defense #1 in the NBA.

Lin off the bench gives us offense when Harden is out.

LOFs really want Lin to stand at the 3 point line like he did all last season as a starter?

    Win-win situation.

It never fails to amaze me how many of you are ignorant on the facts.

Mchale had nothing to do with Lin getting cut the first time, this is not opinion...it is fact. Morey made the cut based on guaranteed contracts, Lin did not have one and all the other PGs did.

    and

IF Beverley is such a bad defender, why are the NBA experts already giving him votes as a top defender in the league? Sorry guys, he *is* a very good defender....and that is also a fact...no matter how much some of you try to denigrate him to glorify Jeremy Lin.

Lin got average 13+6 as a starter last year.
Lin has spent ALL summer to improve his weaknesses (3pts shooting, left hand and defence).
Why? Because he knows his role is to be a role player on this team . He has prepared for that.
Btw,of course Lin can play well with the second team. ALL starters have abilities to do that. Is that mean they HAVE to come off the bench?
Why do u guys think it's best for the team and Lin? U don't even know what he can do this year...

McHale is not the freaking GM. He didn't cut anyone or make any of the roster moves we have made since he got here. He takes what Morey gives him and does what he thinks is best to win with what he's got.

This McHale cut Lin BS has to stop spreading around. The only reason Lin was cut was because of contract situations of him and others on the team and the fact that while he had showed promise(there's a reason we brought him in) he hadn't shown what he eventually showed in NY. Which again he almost didn't get to show had it not been for numerous injuries.

Agreed, i think every NBA player will say the same thing. It's like working for a company. When they ask you if you are happy with this company. Are you going to say anything else besides the good things?
