too early to make such statement. you've never known. give 15-20 games and then we know much better.

i am not talking about me and you. normally, head coach gives info to the media to avoid any unnecessary issue whenever the decision is made. what's the point to hold it?

not always iso at all. Harden does that sometimes to take time off the clock, but he'll pass quite a bit too.

The only time REAL FANS of the TEAM argue about a change in the starting lineup is when the TEAM is losing.

So turn the argument the other way. Why not try Lin, Harden and Howard as a unit for 20 games to see how that works. Why in practice did we have Lin play with DMo and the other second stringers? If Lin, a starter then entire last year, that brought the team to the playoffs, is suddenly coming off the bench, it is a demotion plain and simple. Unless his replacement is so much better. It's like Ray Allen having to play behind Bradley - well the first chance he got, he left town. Playing behind Wade is one thing, but behind Bradley? no way. THat's Lin's future if he is demoted.

JLin's 2012-2013 highlights. I enjoy the passing highlights starting at 11:47. He's a risky player, drives into traffic, passes into traffic. A lot of his passing highlights seem to be to second unit guys in the highlights, though a bit are to Parsons and Asik, who are/were and maybe still is in the first unit.

to the haters who think that a 6th man isn't worth much in $ or the Lovers who think lin is getting wasted:

if lin excels at it that means he will be a HUGE, oden size HUGE reason to why we won the championship. A great 6th man gets paid, just go back and look at manu's contract in 5 seasons ago.

In the 2000s, Only Yao and Manu were my favorite players around the league and I never even thought about him as a bench player.

this is McHale's decision. he might see things that a fan won't see. only explanation we got is he has two starting pgs. other than that, we are all in dark.

There is no issue? What issue? The coach makes the call and the players play.

The only issue is the incessant whining on this BBS which is just insignificant noise.

Judging by last year, McHale only gets it right about 1/2 the time. I felt he cost the team some wins with questionable decisions, but helped them too in some other cases. 50/50 proposition - with a contending team the coach better up his percentages.

McHale badly handled lowry and gogi's situation. he has never publicly said anything about why he chose gogi over lowry after lowry back from injury.

There is a disadvantage for the opponent if do they not know the Rocket's starting lineups until the very last minute, because it hinders their ability to design gameplans against the Rockets. Even if it's a minor disadvantage, coaches do all they can to win the most number of games.

No he didn't - what should he have done? His job is to win, and to make decisions that help the team win, not to answer to whiny fans or players.

You don't lead by getting a consensus, you LEAD !

is this your answer? i thought you're way better than some fans you labeled as FAKE FANS.

lin is not a center. we are not talking about asik.

should we bench parsons and play Garcia? Garcia is much better a 3pt shooter. he was playing great d in playoff. looks like he is better fit with harden and howard.
