So I don't usually game online, and I hadn't played GTA online yet, but I thought I'd give it a shot this weekend. It has been pretty fun, but I just got "kicked out of the session by other players." Which is confusing since I wasn't even interacting with anyone else (I wasn't doing some job where I was being an ass or anything). I was doing a bunch of stuff on my own, just exploring the city and getting the hang of things (haven't played much of GTA in general). I had just robbed 3 stores...so I guess maybe that could be seen as a "bad sport." But seems kind of silly. Is there some unwritten rule that I've been breaking? Pretty much kills any desire of mine to continue playing GTA online (and yet another reason why I usually avoid these modes)
not only did i kill him once in the tank, me and thegreat were running from cops and they pulled up in front of us, i started shooting at the cops when he ran in front of me and got melee'd by me and died. i let him hop in my tank and was standing in front of it so he would claim my bounty but he wouldnt shoot me, some random ran up and killed me. either way it was fun..
ive made friends with randoms this way, picked up a fugitive that just robbed an armour truck, we must have spent the next hour running around killing people and getting in fights with other randoms.. i find that a simple honk will get others to atleast trust you enough to not kill you on sight.. if you got booted it was probably because the host was trying to set up some mission with his friends and did not want randoms to join. you only get bad sport by blowing up insured cars which is stupid, it usually takes around 5-6 cars in a period of time to be labeled bad sport, then you get thrown into the dunce lobbies for a couple of days(real-time).. players wear dunce hats and those freeroam lobbies are pure mayhem..
But the weird thing is I didn't even join anyone's mission (I've been avoiding that for now), so that shouldn't have been a problem. I literally was just going around, robbing stores (on my own). I had just finished the 3rd store, and just evaded the cops. I walked around for another minute or so after that, and then I got booted. Maybe just some weird bug, and that is the message that the game decided to display to me. Or maybe the players didn't like me because I wasn't playing along?
did you get an alert that said you were booted? perhaps you just dropped the connection to the server. i know you can get booted from lobbies by other players. im guessing it was just a server disconnect..
I've had that happen to me as well. Brought me back to story mode and told me I booted from this session. Stupid since it was freemode

I think it's a bug . Happened to my friend when we were playing together. There was no vote. But he was kicked twice.
That's pretty much my attitude these days. And if I get killed, I immediately bring the hammer down on anyone and everyone in the near vicinity when I re-spawn. I rescued some random dude the cops had pinned down on top of a building at the airport the other day. Came roaring up there and honked....he jumped in and we escaped 3 stars. Don't even remember his name.
I had a bounty put on me so I took to the mountains and ended up getting a helicopter to get me there quickly. On my way there, I picked up 2 other people that had bounties on them too and we went to he top of mount chillad and kicked it. No one wanted to fk with us
so i'm still playing in offline mode on the xbox.. i've completed the game (including Lester's assassination missions), but does anyone know how i can get to 150 million dollars to buy the golf club? what strategy do you use when investing in stocks on your own? i'm kinda getting irritated that I can't get that much money single-handedly
If you completed the game, I'm not real sure. But I found this.... Spoilered for size Spoiler It looks like if you invest in a company, then maybe spend some time destroying assets(trucks, planes, etc) of the competing company you might get some cash. Can anyone verify this?
Yes that is correct. If you invest in a rival company and destroy their trucks and stuff, their stock will go down & vice versa. i picked up a npc who needed a ride to the airport, he gave me a stock tip for bawsaq, he said invest in tinkle i put all my money and ended up making 20 million on top of the 50m i put in..
