They`re missing a playmaker outside of Paul George. They need someone to create for them. JRose`s idea of Jamal Crawford going to IND would be great for them. I just don`t think the PG`s can get it done.

I never said they were the 4th best team, but it's a bit premature to rank the Rockets above them. For the record, they won 49 games and could've probably won a couple more if they hadn't rested their starters towards the end of the season. I mean they went to the ECF and took the eventual champs to 7 games, that has to count for something. They've only improved since then by adding players to their bench which was non-existent last season. Ranking the Rockets ahead of them come March is understandable if the Rockets are playing better than them, but the Rockets haven't proven anything yet with their current squad which is why I just feel it's too early to rank them above Indiana.

I get it, but Bill's trying to argue that this is a regular season ranking. To be #4 you're basically a 55-60 win team - that's a pretty big step up from where the Pacers were last year, does organic growth + Scola + some more Granger really get you there?

Yeah, I'm not sure if they're the 4th best team in the regular season. I have them finishing around 50 wins again like they did last season. But I do think they're pretty well built for the playoffs assuming all of their pieces are healthy. I'm thinking they're going to try and move Granger by the deadline to get a scorer.

    See the rest here.

    #1 are the Bulls.
I guess this ordered them based on regular season projected results.

LMAO @ Bulls number 1, I'd even rank the Rox ahead of those guys, wonder what Simmons was smoking when he made them number 1.

haha ... Simmons ditching the Bulls already?

He did emphasize several times that these rankings were his, and not Jalen's.

Kareem's mvps during the ABA period deserve an asterisk.
