Maybe a little insensitive but I couldn't help but think, Chris Paul could've came here if Sterling did not have a change of heart and Rivers decided to resign in protest.

Curious, what do you guys think about the Sacramento Kings rescinding their offer to Andre Iguodala this summer? Cause that was a total ******* move. Did ended up working much better for Iggy.

I agree with Sterling that J.J. Redick isn't worth his contract, but it isn't much more than his actual worth, and you never, never, never undermine your coach like that---especially a coach you brought in to (let's keep it real) placate Chris Paul and get him to stay (although Doc is light years better than Vinnie Del Negro; but so am I, for that matter: "CP3, be great; Blake, DeAndre, go dunk; Jamal, make 3's. Wake me up when it's over.")

The offer from the Kings was a lot more than the the GS offer. They gave him an ultimatum which I do think is in poor taste ala Presti

Certain people should not be able to speak, work or breathe because they cannot think like a decent person.

Sterling has always been a scumbag. He refuses so many interviews, probably because of how embarrassed he is about his past as an owner.

He always does his coaches dirty, even when they do a good job. I always think of Mike Dunleavy. He has been successful almost everywhere, and he can deal with the worst of egos. (Trailblazers with Sheed, Pippen, Zbo, and even Bonzi Freaking Wells.) He had his time in Clipland but was EXTREMELY underappreciated.

Les seems to be a decent person with some loyalty towards his players. Though, a year a go or so, I thought he was on the verge of becoming a scumbag with the "everyone is an asset for a trade" approach. He and Morey should always regret the way the let Rick go and how they treated JVG on his way out. That's inexcusable. If they would have given Rick another year or so, and if Rick had DWIGHT AND HARDEN, we would be 100 times better than any play McHale could pretend to know how to design during the timeout. It makes me shudder when I think about how Rick and even JVG could take this team even farther. And no, I do not think McHale is qualified to be head coach, but he is a good guy to have on the bench as a mentor.

All in all, Les has done a pretty decent job, minus supporting some boneheaded trades/signings that were done for money, but also set us back from a talent standpoint (Thabeet, Flynn, TRob, David Andersen, letting Goran walk and not firing McHale 2 seasons ago when he chose the most ineffective lineups that cost us a playoff berth and 6 straight losses to end the season.)

I'm critical because I love my Rockets and fellow fans. Wait, let me clarify, I love my fellow ROCKETS fans but I could live without the player-only fans that litter the board and bring down the Rockets fanbase.

Bledsoe is gonna average 5.9 steals per game, Dudley is ugly and Reddick will average $350,000 per field goal made. Point, Sterling.

The problem here is the fundamentals of the power struggle with the Clippers. If Sterling was in charge on the front end, he would never have made the trade to begin with because he didn't like or want to pay Reddick. The team would still suck of course, but it would be clear who is in charge in LA.

You put Doc in charge now to do pretty much what he wants, but then you also have an owner who wants the final say so, and it just doesn't work like that. In the end, this relationship has a systemic problem, and its control (or the illusion of control) that will cause this ship to sink.

Doc and his people should have seen this coming, and CP3 should have seen this coming. There is a long history of evidence to support it. I have no sympathy for either of them being humiliated here in the coming months/years because they should be smart enough to know what the score is.

It was poor timing to have second thoughts and put his people in a bad position. I do think his second thoughts were accurate, though, and only his decision making procedures should have been attacked.

The Clippers bench really helped them win a lot of games last year. Redick will fit better with the starters on offense. I am not sure he improves the starters as much as Bledsoe elevated the bench. Clippers should have been able to get a lot more for Bledsoe.

I still have a tough time believing that the Clippers ended up with Paul and Griffin. Poorly run organization. I think their moves this offseason were good only in the fact that they kept Chris Paul. How bad does it look when it appears Sterling is the only one in the organization that appears to have thought, "trading the best player in a deal may not be in the best interest for us". Granted, it was bad for timing as they didn't have Paul re-signed yet and it threw the whole organization under the bus.

Bledsoe was all right. He was still raw and will never develop getting 20 mins a game behind paul. They have collison now backing up and he knows how to do it. Redick fills a massive need for them.

These owners are bad decision makers for their teams. Sterling is not a bad decision maker in that sense. He's made enough good decisions to make the Clippers profitable while not really serious about winning.

Sterling is the worst sports owner because he's the worst HUMAN BEING in sports ownership.
