I believe these were grandfathered in when Comcast took over their part of the old Adelphia Communications. Those RSNs which were already carried by Directv were rebranded with the Comcast Sports Network labeling. What's happening with CSN-Houston is totally different as this was a brand new network patterned after the Titanic.

The Titanic actually floated across half the Atlantic before it sank. This debacle has never left the port.

All of the witnesses so far have been called by the Astros, correct? This could take a long while, doubt it finishes by tomorrow

I was wondering the same thing back then. why didn't Comcast use the NBC brand for the regional sports network to go along with NBCSN? They could compete with Fox Sports that way.

It would be nice to know if Barron thought they sounded credible. Just from the perspective of someone in the courtroom.

it doesn't really matter. they are owned by comcast, they aren't outside parties.

    IMHO

My guess is that they were trying to put the Comcast brand on their RSNs in much the same way as the Fox Sports Network RSNs.
