    Up to now it was just preseason games. It feels silly to extrapolate regular season performance from preseason games.

    But now we'll be playing our first regular season game, so any extrapolation will be 100% valid. We can take whatever we do against the Bobcats and confidently predict that the rest of the season will be just like that. I expect to see lots of charts and graphs with really steep slopes.

    (I picture an 82 game winning streak, followed by the super double secret rule that any team that wins all regular season games gets a pass directly to the finals competition without playing any playoff games. Seldom invoked rule.)

    Oh, Rockets get their first W Wednesday. And the media will get their first lesson of what the Rockets are about.

    A win on Oct 30th i just as good as a win on March 30th. If Howard buys in, I think the Rockets can tangle with anyone, but home court is crucial, especially in a seven game WCF.

    Agree with Raven..... We need to pick up wins early in the season. We have enough talent to win and gel at the same time.
