Probably Mchale will rotate amongst Beverley and Lin. Different lineup for different games to determine who will be most consistent. I think both Lin and Beverley will be the spark off the bench. Lin offensively, Beverley defensively. Either way, this will benefit Rockets alot
But I said I want Lin to win his spot back. Not Bev to degrade and fail. If Bev can do that for 80 games, good for him that means his equally skilled as Lin and I hope he can help the Rockets win the championship. I kind a want to see Lin in the bench away from Harden. I feel sad when Lin don't play-make or drive. Lin just passes to Harden, it's just a waste of talent.

as much as I love Lin and think that Lin is a better player... I will start Beverly for basketball reasons. We need his defense.
It would be empty if Lin won his spot back because Beverley failed. If he wins his spot back it should be because he has improved his defense, his shooting, and limits his turnovers while keeping his playmaking the same. It shouldn't be because Bev is playing badly. Lets see how this works out. I hope having Beverley in the back court doesn't mean Harden thinks he can be lazy with defense.
