I would argue that playing good defense ALWAYS matters. This probably matters more than you think. Harden is the leader, people are going to follow his lead, subconsciously or not.
People will definitely follow his lead, and that's why Jeremy Lin would not see himself as a mere bench player if the coach asked him to be the 6th man.
It's funny. They barely lost that NO game because the bench played like everyone thought the starters would play. The chemistry was almost instant with the starters.

Geez, logged in, checked out a number of threads and many of them devolve into infighting and hate. Checked out this one too and thought the OP's initial post and pic was pretty cool..felt hopeful and giddy about the team. Then I read the rest of the posts below it and as usual some people always have to make some comments to stir it up ...give it a rest already, it's a new season. You guys who troll/annoy Lin fans, and you Lin fans who complain/annoy deserve each other.
