The Texans are a game and a half back of the last wild card slot(assuming NYJ loses to Cinci). The Texans are making the playoffs if they go 7-2.
Best Sunday in the last 5 weeks! Any clue when Kubes is naming his starter? You'd think it would be Tomorrow. This week will be epic. 5 new players and Matt Schaubs official demotion!
Oh no, we know what that means!!!! The Bye Week is ruined. In prime time, Bye will easily pass for 400 yards and 5 scores. We will never catch up. Been there, done that.
FWIW, Chris Jones had 7 tackles, 2 TFL, and a sack today for the Pats. That gives him as many sacks as Watt and Mercilus. And in only 5 games played. So glad we cut that guy.
One man's trash another man's treasure...This itself should say a lot about how the Texans are run as an organization...Talent is everywhere, and cant get the job done. Only means one thing: coaching = epic fail!
I think sometimes a guy just is a better fit regardless... With that said the Texans don't have a long list of guys they have picked up from other teams and have made gems either I guess...
Well, Foster and Keenum were passed over by everybody. Also, this team hasn't yet really relied on the "street free agent" in building up the nucleus during this regime. Some of that should change this week, with 4 open roster spots.
Well, we already know who the 5 guys are. 3 are RB's we already had in camp. I really don't see any of them making a real impact in the running game. Wood was the best of that group and he's gone now, and without a single carry with the team. The 2 LB's look like they're mainly there just to play on special teams. I don't know if we'll see either of them actually playing defense. BTW, I posted it in the "street free agent" thread, but the 5 are Ray Graham, Deji Karim, Dennis Johnson, Tavares Gooden, and Jeff Tarpinian.
That is a BIG IF, especially by the way we have been playing. But hey we still have life, just needs to go on a winning streak starting with the Colts.
McClain: Kubiak is expected to name Keenum to start against the Colts after his impressive performance against the undefeated Chiefs at Arrowhead Stadium, where he had completions of 42, 42, 35 and 29 yards, the latter a perfectly thrown touchdown pass to DeAndre Hopkins. Kubiak has given no indication if he’ll name the starter Monday, when they have a light practice, or on Wednesday, when they resume their regular, full-scale practices.
Kubiak has quite the delimma. "Lets see we had no picks, we had a td pass thrown over the top in endzone that i havent seen in my tenure, the team has new found enthusiasm, hmmm decisions decisions."
